Welcome to this charming dog-friendly fully-furnished cabin in Ellijay. This cozy retreat features 2 bedrooms with a king and queen bed, perfect for a family of four or two couples. The cabin boasts a shower, bathtub, AC, heating, and more for your comfort. Built in 2024, this beautiful cabin provides all of the modern finishes with a rustic decor including a gorgeous stone fireplace (gas logs) that towers to the wood -inlaid ceiling. The kitchen is a chef's delight complete with a large farmhouse sink, gas stove, and large pantry packed with many basics and spices for cooking gourmet meals. The kitchen is stocked with many small appliances, cookware, dishes, utensils, and everything you need to make a simple meal or a Thanksgiving turkey! Coffee lover? You may choose from a modern Keurig or a Mr. Coffee. A variety of teas are offered along with a S’mores kit for making special treats while sitting around the fire pit on a beautiful evening. With many solar lights surrounding the front and back yards, you can enjoy relaxing under the stars by the fire pit or on the covered front porch furnished with cushioned outdoor furniture. The master suite includes a new premium king size sleep system with a motorized base that elevates and lowers different parts of the mattress to assure a good night's rest. The adjoining master bath includes double vanities with granite counter tops and a tiled walk-in shower with a hand-held sprayer. The guest bedroom encompasses a queen bed with ample storage and a full bath that includes a tub/shower combination and granite top vanity just steps across the hall. You will have everything you need including soap, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, linens, and towels. A first-aid kit and fire extinguisher are included for safety. A full size washer/dryer set is provided for your use. In addition, puzzles and pool towels are available.

COOSAWATTEE RIVER RESORT

Explore the serene surroundings, hiking trails, or fish in the pond, river, or streams (catch & release only). Located in the gated Coosawattee River Resort, you will have access to an indoor olympic size swimming pool (heated during winter months), two outdoor pools, and the beautiful winding river perfect for tubing. A coin-operated game room and fireplace room are available on the premises. The resort also includes many trails for hiking or biking, a state of the art fitness facility, a tennis court, pickle ball court, and parks/playgrounds for the active person. Enjoy a relaxing evening at the barn for picking on the porch and food trucks provided at various times throughout the year (Coosawattee River Resort Picking On the Porch schedule). All amenities are accessible with the provided pass that will allow up to 4 people to enjoy all of these wonderful activities! (75.00 fee if pass is lost ). Bring your dog under 40 pounds (50.00 pet fee each pet up to two dogs). Sorry, cats are not allowed due to allergies. Pet bowls provided, but please bring your dog's bed since dogs are not allowed on the furniture or beds. Fido will enjoy walking on a leash down the serene lane of the cabin.

Parking- Level ample parking is available for two vehicles.

The cabin is accessible by 3.5 steps to the entrance. There are no additional steps inside the cabin. There are multiple steps leading from the front to back yard.

Please note this home is located in a noise-sensitive area and the owner's participate in our Good Neighbor protection program. Our smart home technology (exterior) will alert our team if excessive decibel or occupancy levels are detected, allowing us to reach out directly with a reminder of maximum occupancy and quiet hours. This technology is privacy compliant.

Firearms are not allowed on Coosawattee River Resort property ( conceal permits only).


The cabin is located 18 minutes within the entrance of the gated River Resort. Enjoy the beautiful scenery as you drive up the newly paved, but winding road to the cabin. The cabin is located on a level gravel lane 1/4 mile off the paved road so it is easily accessible by all vehicles. Note: the roads are not well-lit in all areas and the shoulder of the roads may not be accessible in all areas, so respect the speed limit in the resort.

Located in Ellijay, Ga, a small North Georgia Mountain town located an hour north of Atlanta, you will feel like you are walking into a Hallmark movie with the amazing scenery of lush trees in the summer and gold leaves in the Fall, small shops and restaurants, and wineries/breweries galore!

The perfect day starts with the smell of coffee and cooking breakfast in the gourmet kitchen. Enjoy eating breakfast in the floor to ceiling glassed- sunroom overlooking the ridge, often met with deer and squirrels. Take a walk down the serene lane and the 1-mile loop around the mountain on the paved road or enjoy the walking trails. Try your luck at at catching a beautiful trout in the fishing pond, streams, or river ( catch and release only), enjoy tubing down the river, or taking a relaxing swim in the indoor pool or one of the two outdoor pools with lounge chairs provided. (Pool towels are provided in the cabin-please return).

By mid-day, you will be ready to explore one of the many orchards or enjoy lunch at one of the scrumptious quaint cafes including Cantaberry- known for their homemade tomato basil soup or the River Street Tavern for the best hamburgers (The Won Ton Burger is amazing!). Beer lover? Check out the Talking Rock Brewery & Restaurant in an old restored train just 20 minutes south of the Resort. Wine lover? Check out the luxurious Roo Vineyards Winery, & Restaurant located just 15 minutes or Grapes & Ladders -just 5 minutes from the resort. If you want to see the cutest miniature cows, check out Chateau Meichtry Family Vineyard and Winery. Check out one of the many orchards for fresh apples in the Fall or pick berries in the Spring.

End the evening with a stroll down the sidewalks of downtown Ellijay (10 minutes ) or Blue Ridge (located 30 minutes north of the resort). Both small towns are filled with small shops where you can find treasures from antiques, clothing, homemade soaps, and fudge. Enjoy the local cuisine at one of the local restaurants. Return to the cabin and enjoy roasting marshmallows and making s'mores over the fire pit (s’mores kit, firewood, starter, and matches provided) while watching the fireflies glisten around you. Enjoy a lightly lit yard with solar lights that pop with lights of all sizes and a covered front porch where you can sink into the comfort of furniture with large cushions. Enjoy watching your favorite shows on one of the 3 smart TVs provided before retreating to the comfort of your comfortable bed complete with plush pillows and linens.
