• Parking is available in the driveway for up to 3 vehicles.

• Roads are easy to reach year round, though a little extra care is wise in winter weather.

El Prado is a peaceful residential community just north of Taos, offering quick access to town while keeping the quiet, wide open feel of the high desert. You are minutes from the shops, restaurants, and galleries of Taos Plaza, and well positioned for day trips to Taos Ski Valley, the Rio Grande Gorge, and the Enchanted Circle scenic loop. It is an ideal base for art, history, outdoor adventure, and stargazing under some of the darkest skies in New Mexico.



Getting Around:

A car is recommended for exploring Taos and the surrounding area. Taos Plaza is a short drive away, and Taos Ski Valley is roughly a 45 minute drive up the mountain. Free parking is available in the driveway for up to 3 vehicles. In winter, allow extra time and drive with care on higher elevation mountain roads.

• Check in begins at 4:00 PM, and check out is by 10:00 AM.

• Quiet hours are from 10:00 PM to 8:00 AM.

• Dogs are welcome with prior approval (up to 2 dogs).

• Maximum occupancy is 7 guests. Only registered guests are permitted.

• This home is not equipped with air conditioning, and the high desert climate keeps it comfortable through the seasons.
