Two separate living areas provide flexible space for conversation, movies, or quiet downtime. Large windows and arched doors keep the mountains in view throughout the home, grounding your stay in the natural beauty of Taos.



Step outside to the covered patios, where seating areas and a kiva fireplace invite you to slow down and take in the scenery. Enjoy evenings around the firepit, cook on the private gas grill, or soak in the hot tub under wide, clear skies.



Inside, the home is thoughtfully equipped for comfort. The full kitchen includes a prep island that doubles as a breakfast bar, a French-door refrigerator, a double oven, and plenty of counter space for group meals. A dedicated meditation and yoga room adds a peaceful retreat for stretching, reading, or quiet reflection.

The primary suite features a king bed, a dedicated workspace, a seating area, a kiva fireplace, and a private ensuite bathroom with double sinks, a standalone shower, and a jetted soaking tub.

A second bedroom offers a king bed in a relaxed Southwestern setting.

A third bedroom features a queen bed and mountain-facing windows.

The bunk room is ideal for kids or extra guests, with two twin-over-twin bunk beds (four twins).

The wellness room is a flexible space with a convertible queen futon and a queen air mattress, doubling as a peaceful yoga and meditation area.



Bathrooms

The home includes 3 full bathrooms for the comfort of a larger group. Fresh towels and essential toiletries are provided, including shampoo, conditioner, and soap.



Living Areas

Two inviting living areas give your group space to spread out. One is perfect for gathering around the fireplace, while the other offers additional seating for reading, conversation, or movie nights. Guest Access:

Guests have full access to the single-level home, the patios and hot tub, and the yard.

Self check-in is available via a smart-lock keypad at the front entry, with a backup lockbox on site; entry details are provided before your stay.

There is a large gravel parking area in front of the home for up to 5 vehicles. The garage is not available for guest use, and oversized vehicles are not permitted per neighborhood rules.

A vehicle is recommended, and in winter conditions 4WD or AWD and tire chains may be needed for snow-packed or icy roads.



The Neighborhood:

Taos Mountain House is in El Prado, a quiet rural area just north of Taos with wide-open mesa views and the Sangre de Cristo mountains as a backdrop. You are minutes from historic Taos Plaza and its galleries, restaurants, and museums, with Taos Ski Valley a short drive up the road for skiing in winter and hiking in summer. The Rio Grande Gorge, fishing, rafting, and the Enchanted Circle scenic loop are all within easy reach, making this a flexible base for both adventure and quiet mountain time.



Getting Around:

A vehicle is recommended to reach the home and explore Taos and the wider Enchanted Circle. There is on-site gravel parking for up to 5 vehicles; the garage is not available to guests and oversized vehicles are not permitted per neighborhood rules. In winter, 4WD or AWD and tire chains may be needed for snow-packed or icy roads.



Other Things to Note:

Check-in begins at 4:00 PM, and check-out is by 10:00 AM.

Guests must be at least 21 years old to book, and only registered guests are permitted.

Quiet hours apply per local regulations.

No smoking anywhere on the property.

Dogs are welcome (up to two). Dogs are not allowed in the wellness/meditation room, and a couch cover is provided if your pets like to lounge with you.

This home is not air-conditioned; the high-desert climate keeps it comfortable, and the home is heated in cooler months.

The wood-burning fireplace is available, but firewood is not provided.

The outdoor fountain does not run from September through May.

Light outdoor maintenance or landscaping may occasionally take place during your stay.

Entry is via a smart-lock keypad with a backup lockbox on site.

Parking is on-site gravel for up to 5 vehicles; the garage is not for guest use and oversized vehicles are not permitted.
