Loft-e-Lagoon -No Cleaning fee-Grated community-2 minute to the beach

Enjoy a drink off the private patio while watching the golfers play. This villa is located in the beautiful gated Wyndham Ocean Ridge community and 5 minutes from the beach.
This Villa is located on the THIRD floor with steps. NO ELEVATOR. The condo has a spiral staircase leading to the loft. It might be hard for the elderly or disabled.
Please remember that you are staying in a house, not a hotel. Please treat the place with respect. If any problems arise, we will do our very best to take action ASAP, but there is no one living on site 24/7.
Please note that the fireplace is decorative only and not to be used. ‱The condo is basically equipped with all the basics for cooking (pots, pans, plates, microwave, oven, fridge, toaster, coffee maker (standard and Keurig), etc - cooking condiments are not provided). I will provide one roll of toilet paper and one roll of paper towels. I will also provide one towel and one wash cloth per guest no matter how long your stay. If you need more, please bring them. There is a small washer/dryer combo for your laundry needs. Please bring your own detergent.
Other things to note
1. Please keep in mind that South Carolina has it's fair share of insects and other creatures. It's not uncommon for a Palmetto bug (looks similar to a roach) to get into the homes on the island. Also, small Anole lizards try and get in the homes. Our home is sprayed every few months for bugs.

2. The condo is so close to the beach that the tap water is slightly salty, which is completely normal and safe. If you do not like the taste, Edisto has a small grocery store just 5 mins away where bottled water can be purchased.

Check in/out was simple and property was clean. Loved the private community!! Very safe and family friendly! I only gave 4 stars because when we arrived for check in the thermostat was set to 77. It was miserable!! Other than that, would likely stay here again.

A Great Stay

We had a great stay at the Loft-E-Lagoon. Our kids, ages 4 & 6, loved the spiral staircase and loft. The playground and mini golf was an easy walk. Elizabeth was flexible and accommodating. We would definitely stay here again!

Great spot for our short stay

This cute little condo was the perfect size for me and my two younger daughters. The kids loved getting the loft area to themselves and I liked that it wasn’t huge but it had everything we needed. The gift was very responsive and helpful during our stay. We would gladly stay again !

Second visit and we still love it!

We knew what we were getting into from our last visit, but it’s just as great the second time around. The only downside is the staircase, but once you get over that hurdle it quickly becomes an upside. From the balcony, you have a lovely view of the grounds and can often see wild deer roaming around. The bed is super comfy, and the second floor is adorable and perfect for children, complete with a spiral staircase. It’s very clean and has all the accommodations you would want. Location-wise, everything is a short drive away. I recommend the Sea Cow Eatery or McConkey’s if you want a bite to eat. The beach is close enough that there is no distance-related convenience as long as you don’t mind a quick drive. I expect to return.

Cozy and convenient

We found the condo to be perfect for us. There was just enough room that we weren’t bumping in to each other. The kitchen space is small but we were able to cook when we wanted. The drive to the beach is only a few minutes - a quick trip. We would definitely choose to stay here again.

Decent will stay again.

There are a couple of concerns with the property. The front door handle would jam and have a very hard time opening the door. Couple of times we thought we were locked out even though we had the key. The bottom of the spiral staircase railing needs to be reattached. Also the glass table is an accident waiting to happen not secured at all. The price of this listing is very reasonable and we really enjoyed ourselves. Appreciate us being able to stay somewhere for less than a week.

Never happened.

The unit was not cleaned properly. No air upstairs and the property manager stated we weren't able to get a refund or discount so I lost my entire payment and went back to charleston to a hotel that we paid $836.00 for our four night stay.
