Start your morning with a cup of coffee on the deck before heading out to explore the lighthouse at nearby Tawas State Park, or visit Lumberman's Monument on the Ausable River and drive River Road, stopping at the many overlooks.

Easy check in. Clean kitchen and bathroom. Great deck and backyard. We ate breakfast outdoors every day. Terrific location and easy walk to town.The host was immediately responsive the one occasion we contacted him.

My family just loved this property! The neighborhood is quiet, yet just a few blocks from the local businesses. It's a short distance to any of the beaches and parks and overall in great proximity to everything. The home was clean and cozy and offered everything we needed for our stay. The window AC units perfectly cooled the home and allowed us blissful sleep. I enjoyed the cozy deck and spacious back yard. We wish we could've stayed longer!

Quiet neighborhood within easy walking distance of town. Comfortable beds, easy to use kitchen and laundry, large backyard with grass for children to run around. Plenty of games and puzzles in the closet. Definitely recommend for families.

Family connect and golf

Wonderful home and had a great up north cabin decor and feel! Loved watching a family of robin birds foraging for worms, and also the chipmunks and black and brown squirrels! Great location and the home had all of the furnishings.

Up north get away

We had a wonderful stay at this cute 2 bedroom house. There was plenty of linens, blankets, towels. Full kitchen with dishes, bowls, pota and pans. Quiet neughborhood and close to downtown. I would definitely stay here again

Quiet and great location

The property is in a cute neighborhood walking distance to downtown East Tawas. But you would never know you are that close. It was very quiet and peaceful. The back covered porch was nice to sit and drink our morning coffee before hitting the beach. The host even provides beach towels which was an added plus. We enjoyed our stay

The Garbage can was full when we arrived. There was an objectionable fragrance device plugged into the wall. I wasn’t sure if the sheets were clean.

Quick getaway

The location and amenities were amazing. It was a quiet neighborhood. The house was comfortable and quaint. It was a little musty smelling though, which caused some issues with allergies, but overall good place to stay. Owners were amazing at communicating with me.

Wasnt expecting a residential area.The inside looked like a cabin.Very cozy.Just was expecting a cabin with much closer walking distance to the lake.Not 7 blocks.All in all was a nice place,clean,and had everything you needed for every day living.We had a nice time.

Perfect with a deep cleaning

We were 4 adults all in our 70 and 80’s. Love the location, like the layout, owner was very helpful and friendly. However was greatly disappointed in the sofa’s needed to be replaced, the throw rugs on the floor to cover the dirty carpet, the soft mattress in the bedroom to the right of the bathroom, the dirty back deck and furniture not able to use and messiness of the cupboards in kitchen.would not return unless these things are taken care of. Felt high priced for the dirtyness and uncomfortable furniture. Thanks, Karen Davis

Fabulous stay!

Wonderful and cozy lodging! Our girl's trip was a blast in East Tawas and our lodging was perfect. Close to downtown, clean and cozy, pull-out couch was comfortable(I slept on it myself). Lots of hot water and water pressure was great. We will rent again for sure :)

Wonder place!

We had a wonderful time staying here. Great accomdations, and a very clean home. Enough room for all of us and then some. And a very quick walk or drive downtown or to the harbor. We will definitely be back again!

Exactly as posted. A feel of up north in tawas

Stay was great. My only suggestion is your check in says recycling bin available and we only seen big trash bin outside so we took the recycling with us when we left. Unless you meant the little recycling bins in the house but we didn’t want to leave it in the house when we left
