The View | A Private Two Floor Guest House

Bring your loved ones to this vacation getaway with lots of room for indoor and outdoor fun.
This home caters to groups/families looking for a relaxing vacation away from our everyday stressors.
Whether you are looking to have a BBQ in the backyard, snuggling up in the family room for a calm movie night or wanting to play a friendly game of pool, there is something for everyone!
This modern home with a very open and spacious layout is unique in more ways than one. We call it, "The View" for a reason. Beautiful skyline and mountain views can be seen from the top deck overlooking the woods. Wake up early enough to catch the sun as it rises or capture a gorgeous sunset!
**We offer TWO FULL Floors, all for you and your guest containing six bedrooms, four bathrooms and two full kitchens.**
Both floors are filled with many windows allowing for beautiful natural light to enter the property, perfect for selfies!
*There is one main self check-in entrance, however, once you've checked in and are inside the house, you will have access to multiple doors for entering and exiting.*
1st Floor Break Down:
On the first floor, you will find an equipped kitchen with more than enough space to host your friends/family. The kitchen contains all the basics, including: a stove/oven, microwave, dishwasher, coffee maker, pots, pans, utensils, plates, cups, glasses and more. You will also find a dining area, a pool table, board games and an arcade gaming system. Entry to the backyard is also accessible through here.
The first floor has 3 bedrooms, all Queen size, with one of the bedrooms leading to the backyard. Each room has it's own split unit system (manually controlled air conditioner) and 2 bathrooms located in the hallway.

2nd Floor Break Down:
Just like floor one, floor two has a fully equipped kitchen, in addition to a dining area, a family room and a sunroom that leads to the deck where you can BBQ.
The second floor also has 3 bedrooms. The Master Bedroom is Queen size, with a private bathroom, as well as private entry to the furnished deck.
Bedroom two is also Queen size and bedroom three contains two Bunkbeds. The last bathroom can be found in the hallway, along with the washer/dryer and the central air cooling system.

Respectfully, this is not a home for parties or events. We best cater to groups and families looking to experience a calm getaway.
Be advised, our community township does not allow more than 14 guests per home. This house can accommodate up to 14 guests, however, there will be a $25 additional guest fee per guest, per night, for guests over the amount of 12. As per township safety regulations, guest will be required to provide full names of all travelers under their reservation, as well as all traveling vehicle information prior to arrival.

Guest must have their identity verified through Airbnb. In order to verify your identity if you have not yet done so, please submit your ID on your Airbnb Dashboard
Pets are allowed, but please be advised that if your pet is not a service animal, there will be a one time fee of $75 per pet, as well as a weight requirement of no more than 50lbs for small to medium pets. For larger pets over 50lbs, there will be a charge of $150 per pet. The maximum number of pets allowed is three. Please specify the size and breed through the message thread in order to be charged correctly.

We encourage guest to please pick up after your pets. Our cleaning crew goes above and beyond to clean thoroughly after every visit and if they find pet feces inside or on the properties front lawn and/or backyard, guests will be required to pay an additional $100 cleaning fee.

On the cusp of greatness but still fine.

The house was comfortable for the most part and got the needs met for our trip. We had a great time but there are a few opportunities to make it truly great. Host was fast to respond but some of the issues could not be fixed (fridge). Our main issues were with the sloppy nature of some items in the house. Multiple loose doorknobs and things that really just need an afternoon of a handyman to fix. Knobs on the grill were falling off and the screws holding the lid were loose and it felt like it was going to fall off. The fridge upstairs would not keep items cold (we checked the settings but it was not working correctly). We had a fridge downstairs but it was inconvenient to have to move all the stuff up when we wanted to use it. There were also ants in the downstairs pantry ( it's in the woods so it's not a surprise)The house would get damp in the morning even with the air conditioner running and I felt like I needed a dehumidifier in my bedroom. There was also outdoor furniture inside that was uncomfortable to sit on because the cushions kept sliding off. The art and decor were all just a little bit off as well. Crooked or not aligned with each other and just felt uncanny. Add that to the contradictory instructions spread across messages online, in a thick rule book at the property and hung up all over the house, it was a bit confusing at times. But we enjoyed the peace and quiet as well as the space we had, despite the neighbors....colorfully regressive yard signs.
A ton of the decor is just slightly off ( not aligned or evenly spaced). It was all over and became a running joke. Just need a ruler and a level to fix.
Downstairs game room. This is where we had the fridge that worked well.
Rooms were big and clean. Some had a little dampness or musty smell but overall good.

Great Gathering House

We booked this house with extended family for a wedding we were attending. House was very clean. Lots of rooms and bathrooms. Wish we could have stayed longer to enjoy the fire pit, back porch and beautiful fall trees. House is also a short drive to stores, gas etc. Multiple kitchens make it great for large families.

Ideal for a large family (and friends) gathering

We had a fantastic stay at your property over the weekend! The house was incredibly spacious, easily accommodating our large group without feeling cramped. The double kitchen setup was an excellent feature, allowing us to prepare meals more efficiently and comfortably. It was particularly beneficial for those needing a quieter eating space. The location was superb, with local attractions and stores just a short drive away, making grocery shopping and picking up essentials incredibly convenient. The neighborhood felt safe and inviting. I could see us having fun any time of year at this house. A few very minor maintenance issues: -On the first floor, the floor divider between the bedroom and the hallway (bedroom closest to the fire pit) came loose and could use some wood glue. -The sink faucet in the bathroom next to that bedroom was a bit wobbly, and its toilet in was loose, including the toilet seat. Despite all that, the house's layout and amenities greatly enhanced our stay. The property’s overall condition was excellent, and the beautiful surroundings made for a relaxing and enjoyable stay. We were impressed with how well the house was equipped. We had enough cookware and flatware to go around. In summary, this was one of the best vacation homes we've stayed in so far. The thoughtful touches, convenient location, and ample space made it an outstanding choice. We’re already looking forward to our next visit. Thank you for hosting us and making our stay so enjoyable!

Dirtiest dive I've seen in years. This place was too pricey to be this bad. Run down furniture, severely stained carpets, dog smells. Management admitted ALL rooms had pets before. Just overall YUCK!!!

I Love This Home 🏡

The home was freshly cleaned, big with plenty space, rooms and parking. The home also has two kitchens which was a 1st for me. The owner Maggie was awesome to deal with and responded back to me right away. I loved this house and will definitely book again in the future.

A Very Merry Christmas

This property provides lots of room for everyone. We had a total of 9 people in our group. We were able to spread out & do our own thing when we wanted. The host had decorated the main part of the house with a Christmas tree & lots of decorations. Beautiful view of the mountains from the deck. My only criticism is that the dining table was not large enough and there were no extra dining chairs available. However, we had a wonderful family Christmas experience here & have taken away a lot of great memories.

This is OUR new home.

This home by far over exceeded our expectation. We had the time of our life. I even asked the owner if she was willing to allow me to live there and not call the police on me. My parents enjoyed themselves. Even down to my children. No one was ready to leave, but we obviously had to be fair to the next group that was coming in. Whatever was needed, Maggie went above and beyond. It was so funny if I sneezed hard, she had someone at the front door with tissue. It was an amazing experience! We will definitely be back. Wish this was something that we can do every weekend. It definitely felt like home away from home. Again, thank you for affording us an amazing experience by using your home.

Amazing, super cozy house with tons of fun

The house was just as great as advertised, the hosts were extremely communicative and very transparent which made booking a breeze. The house had a large living room area and a large lounge area with lots of games so me and my 13 guest fit comfortably, the rooms weren’t far apart so you can still be close to your friends and family, the house offered a gorgeous view in the mornings and even has a small private yard area in the first floor. My favorite part of the experience was how great the hosts were, accomadated us for last minute requests and were extremely polite, (the arcade machine was my 2nd favorite part) I wish i can give it more then 5 stars, definitely will book again in the future.

Poconos house

We enjoyed our stay, the house was well suited for 12 people. However both dishwashers were out of order, the tap water smelled like sulfur, and there were not enough dishes for 12 so we had to buy silverware at the Dollar Store and use paper plates for some meals. There also was no coffee maker other than the Keurig, which is not convenient for such a large group. We were able to borrow one from local friends so it worked out ok. Overall I would recommend this property!
