Nestled on a serene 4-acre wooded lot with a lake and dock, this stunning two-story house offers the perfect blend of modern amenities and natural beauty. As you enter the house, you are greeted by a spacious living room with a cozy fireplace, perfect for snuggling up on chilly evenings. The living room flows seamlessly into the dining room, which boasts ample natural light and plenty of space for entertaining guests.

The house features a fully finished basement that offers a perfect space for relaxing and entertaining. The basement includes a movie theatre with plush seating and state-of-the-art audio and visual equipment, providing a perfect space to enjoy movies with family and friends. Additionally, the basement features a game room with an air hockey table, arcade machine, foosball, and other games, making it the perfect place to gather for friendly competition or just to unwind.

In terms of sleeping arrangements, we have a king in the owners suit. Two bedrooms one upstairs and one downstairs with queens beds. There is also an upstairs “kids” bedroom with bunk bottom double and a top twin. In addition for guest use there is a queen pullout sofa in the living room.

One of the highlights of this property is its outdoor living space. The spacious deck provides a perfect place to enjoy the natural beauty of the surrounding woods, while the fire pit offers a cozy spot for evening campfires and stargazing. With its lake and dock, this property also offers endless possibilities for enjoying the outdoors.

We were extremely happy with our stay. The house was beautiful and and had great amenities for a family with multiple aged children. The beds were comfortable, clean linen, and clean bathroom and kitchen areas. The dinning room was a nice size and comfortably sat our family of 10. An our kids loved spending time in the basement!

Girls trip

We had a nice weekend overall and appreciated how beautiful the home and setting were. The hosts were very responsive and kind, and communication throughout our stay was great.We did have an unexpected issue, however, the hosts responded quickly and came by the property after we let them know.Also, just a heads-up—sound carries easily at the property, and we were reminded by a neighbor to keep noise down during a conversation by the firepit around 11pm Friday night. Not a major issue, but something for future guests to keep in mind.Appreciate the hospitality and the quick responses.

Beautiful property, gracious hosts

The house is lovely, clean, spacious, and has great amenities. The fire pit is amazing and we loved just sitting on the deck enjoying the beautiful surroundings. We also had a movie night in the movie room. The beds were comfortable and the bathrooms were really well appointed, especially the one off the king bedroom. (Just note that the "hot tub" listed is in fact a jetted bathtub.) The hosts went above and beyond to answer out questions and make us feel welcome.

Comfortable, welcoming home in a great location

We had a lovely stay in this comfortable home. There was plenty of space for sleeping and common gathering places for all to enjoy. communication with the owners was quick and helpful. Only complaint is that the listing says hot tub, but we came across a jacuzzi tub in the master bathroom instead of an actual hot tub.Overall, we were more than happy with the home and all it had to offer.

We were very pleased when we pulled up to the house and went inside! It was clean and nicely decorated. The host was very responsive (the quickest I’ve ever experienced!) The location was great for the hiking and range shooting we did. Our only only suggestions would be, glassware, not plastic, (for water and wine), a new dishwasher, the one there is very old and loud, and a dehumidifier in the basement, as there is a slight musty smell. I hope this is helpful. We did enjoy our stay and would consider coming in the summer months to check out the lake when it is higher and accessible.

Beautiful house and great location

The house was really nice, and the decor was lovely, with nice furniture and calming colors. The mattresses seemed to be high quality and were comfortable. The central air conditioning was great on hot summer days and nights. The host, Drew, seemed quite conscientious. The house is located on a large lot with a peaceful treed backyard with ample seating on the patio. Behind the yard is a beautiful wetlands area with water lilies, frogs, blackbirds, and I even saw a heron and egrets. The house is very close to a grocery store, some restaurants, and the main road, but is quiet because it's on a side street. It's about a 15 minute drive to wonderful Bushkill Falls in one direction and to Stroudsburg in another direction. This was our first trip to the Poconos, and we feel fortunate to have had such a great place to stay. The only improvements I could suggest would be a few more small touches to make it more homey and a small pantry and a cutting board in the kitchen. But I would definitely stay there again were I in the area!

Great vacation vibe with convenience nearby

The house was clean, spacious, well appointed, and a lovely location! We were in the area for a wedding at Shawnee and really appreciated. The convenient location. Shawnee was an easy drive and yet we had a big grocery store, go karts, and the Mount Nebo park nearby. Not only that, the house has a great deck and yard, as well as a comfortable living room and fun basement. A great Place to stay comfortably anytime of the year.

False advertisement

First of all I do not like to give bad reviews at all but this was unexpected. I have looked for a lake house for more than half a year. I contacted the host verifying if his house was a lake house and he confirmed. Now, don’t get me wrong the house was clean and beautiful but once I got there there was no lake house it was a small pond with grass all over. I have contacted the house and he went back and forth with me. The host clearly knew that lake house was important for me and my family which there was no lake. Please be aware this is NOT A LAKE HOUSE. Please do not advertise it as a lake house. I have pictures to prove.

Family Thanksgiving gateway

Our Thanksgiving trip was very pleasant. The owners were very responsive and answered all the questions. We enjoyed our evenings by the fireplace and movie nights in the entertainment room. The house provides all your essentials and is very clean. We did some fishing and purchased our Christmas tree at the nearby farm, which was a perfect ending to our long weekend.
