The house was awesome. It had large bedrooms, a great kitchen and dining (we had 10 people). The bathrooms were nice too. The lake views were amazing. The water frontage was really nice. It was sandy and shallow (like 6" off shore) and then steadily dropped to about 4 feet. We fished off the dock and caught some fish. We loved the firepit by the shore. Spent many hours there at night.The house was well lit and had plenty of windows. It was a great location. We used to have a family property about 4 miles down the road, so we were very familiar with the area. And really like Catfish Lake, so it was a perfect spot for us to rent. It was very quiet. The other great thing is that there is very little boat traffic by the house, so it was very peaceful. Camp Ojibwa is just down the shore, so in the summer times when all the kids are in camp, it may be a little less peaceful there than when we stayed the last week in August. The only complaints (and they are minor). The beds were not the greatest in the master suite and the main bedroom off the living room). For a place of this quality the beds could be better. Also the couches in the first floor living room left a lot to be desired. The management company was very responsive. We had a few questions prior to and during our stay and they responded quickly. We will be back.
