This cozy little glamping cottage was last renovated on 11-23-2018 and features a sofa, work desk, bathroom with vanity, kitchen sink, refrigerator, microwave two burner cooktop, coffee maker and an inclosed outdoor shower. Temp control is electric heat and AC unit.

Looking for a cozy glamping rustic cottage to getaway? Our cottage is located in Durham, North Carolina. It is 15 minutes to Research Triangle Park (RTP), 7 minutes from Downtown Durham and Duke University as well as 30 minutes from Raleigh and 20 min from RDU Airport.

This stay is not for uptights and you will see spiders, mosquitos, moths... more outside than inside but they do come inside from time to time and I want my guests to be well aware before booking. Also, if you have any physical limitations, going up the ladder-like staircase may prove difficult or impossible. There is a click-down sofa bed downstairs where one person may sleep. Please look at the photos carefully so there is no misunderstanding.

I’m sorry to have to announce this, but no animals can be in this space. I am very allergic to cats and dogs. I’ve had years of extensive allergy shots and been allergic my whole life with swelling eyes, sinus infections and shortness of breath due to spaces where animals have been. Thank you in advance for understanding and respecting my condition. I love animals despite not being able to enjoy them fully. and NO SMOKING in or around the cottage!
I am available via text if you have an iPhone and What's App using my phone number even if I'm traveling abroad. I am a touring musician and am reachable most of the time unless I'm on stage. If you don't have an iPhone and don't use What's App, the Air BnB messing is the next best way to reach me.

Rural Residential describes the area. Our neighbors are friendly standard issue Durham rural folk. They are old-school southerners who grew up on the land which is now divided into several properties. Plenty friendly and sweet. Follow parking instructions so we don't block access to their driveway.

You must have a car or organize Uber or Taxi to reach the heart of downtown Durham in about 7 minutes.

Cozy Rustic Cottage Glamping

The loft bed is up a mini ladder-type staircase and is not recommended for older guests with physical limitations.

Our sleeping loft offers a queensize bed. So it’ s recommended for one or two people.

Additionally the cozy cottage comes with two rockers and a small table on a quaint wrap-around porch. The yard features are a fire pit and a simple charcoal-grill, Cutlery and dishes are on site. Less then one mile away you can find Walmart Supercenter, Dollar Tree.

If you like to hang out you’ll find the Fullsteam Brewery, Motorco Music Hall, the Surf Club and the Geer Street Garden and c and the best coffee shop in Durham county called Cocoa Cinnamon near by down the street about 3 minutes towards downtown. Falls Lake Recreation Area is just a few miles more into the country

We have off-street parking.
