Fully renovated basement apartment near Downtown Durango! This space has two massive bedrooms, a fully equipped kitchen, and one bathroom. Also a dining space and dining table. High speed internet with an Apple TV and Roku available for your streaming pleasure. Ride your bikes to the Animas River Trail just 1.5 miles away, or head downtown only 2.5 miles away. This is a great home-base for your Colorado adventure with fabulous restaurants, such as Pop Sushi, just across the street! Enjoy!
The Space:
Good working A/C to keep you cool and comfortable. This rental is close enough to downtown Durango for easy access and getting around quickly, yet, far enough away to retreat and relax. There are several restaurants within walking distance such as Pop Sushi, Bread bakery, Dominos, and Machos Mexican, also an award winning liquor store. Train station 3 miles away, Fort Lewis College 2.5 miles away, and easy access to 550 N to get to Purgatory ski resort 27 miles away. This a very peaceful setting with a large parking area to accommodate lots of vehicles. The apartment has been renovated with luxury vinyl floors, new carpet, and a full kitchen. There is no oven, but there is a stove top where you can cook using skillets, pots and pans, and the like. The kitchen is stocked with all the essentials and we provide coffee that can be made in the Keurig. There are three beds total, a king, and two queens, also a pool table and foosball for your gaming pleasure! You can set the temperature to just how you like it, with your own thermostat available right in the unit. Please let us know if we can do anything for you during your stay! We love to give restaurant and hiking recommendations and answer any questions you may have! We have also just purchased new furniture for this unit that you are sure to love! Please note that the top unit may be rented out separately during your stay.

Guest Access:
There is ample parking in front of the home.
Viewing deck on the top of the hill. Go through the gate at the back of the yard and up a short trail for mountain and valley views.
The door is equipped with a keypad entry, so you can check in at anytime (after 4 pm). You will be sent all check-in information a day or two before you arrive.
The Neighborhood:
Walk to restaurants, including one of the best sushi places in town! River trail just 1.5 miles away. Downtown Durango just 2.5 miles away. Close to town, yet, far enough away to retreat and relax.
Getting Around:
Plenty of parking here in front of the home. Located 2.5 miles from downtown, but also walking distance to a few restaurants and convenience store/gas station. 1.5 miles from the Animas River.
Other Things to Note:
This is a ground level unit, so there could be people above. Sound insulation is present between the floors to minimize noise transfer.
