HighPoint Haven at Tamarron Resort (HighPoint #615) is a highly desirable end unit townhome with the perfect blend of privacy, luxury and views! This unit features 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, an open floorplan, an abundance of light with one of the best views at the Tamarron Resort. Enjoy sitting on the treehouse-like deck overlooking the beautiful Valley Golf Course below and mountains directly across the valley.

The main level is open concept living, kitchen and dining. The living room features an entire wall of windows and sliding glass doors to expand living to the outdoors. The kitchen features high-end stainless-steel appliances, custom cabinets, and granite counter tops. There is a full bath with a 6 ft. soaker tub/shower combo with a tile surround. The large deck has comfortable seating facing east and an electric grill.

The upper-level loft includes a queen size bed, bunk beds, and a view of the open living room below. The private, primary bedroom is complete with a King Size bed, large walk-in closet, desk and a stackable washer/dryer combo. The spa-like beautifully remodeled bath offers a large walk-in shower. There is also a pack-n-play for families traveling with infants.

* Upper-Level Loft - Queen Bed and a Twin over Full Bunk Bed

ON-SITE AMENITIES AT THE LODGE INCLUDE: indoor pool, outdoor heated pool, outdoor hot tub, sauna, steam shower, fitness center, golf at a special discounted rate, tennis, pickleball, playground, 3 on-site restaurants, and event center. There is an EV Charging Station available for guest use in the Valley Clubhouse parking lot, adjacent to the Tamarron Lodge. Our Tamarron rental guests can play Glacier's 18-hole Valley Course at an exclusive discounted rate. Details will be provided in your rental instructions. There is a $20 per person ski shuttle to purgatory on weekends - tickets must be purchased in advance and the pick-up location is in the Valley Clubhouse parking lot.

LOCATION: Tamarron sits at around 7800 feet in elevation and is just 10 minutes south of Purgatory Ski Resort and 20 minutes north of downtown Durango. Many guests stay here to visit Purgatory Ski Resort, which offers a variety of restaurants, winter and summer activities, and festivals/events.

Durango North stay

The town-home was above average and in a beautiful wooded setting. The pools were used by our daughter and her children and enjoyed! The kitchen and bathrooms were well supplied. The kitchen drawers and cabinets could use a thorough cleaning, but otherwise the place seemed clean. Thank you for a lovely stay!

One step above camping

We have rented several homes in the area over the last 5 years and the rentals always seem to be one step above camping. This is an honest assessment of the short term rental market in the area which is understandable. This property provided a place to sleep and a shower which is much needed after a full day of hiking. However, the washer machine is filled with black mold so do not open it or plan on using it. Almost all kitchen supplies are broken, or are not in working condition, which worked out great for us, because who wants to cook while vacation. Plan on taking advantage of the local restaurants in the area or eating sandwiches. Bring your pillows from home since all the pillows are flat with zero stuffing. The mattress in the 2nd bedroom definitely needs to be replaced and the room did not cool down at night so be prepared for a warm sleeping environment. The Glacier Club community is beautiful and the restaurants have a good selection of items to choose from and the food is tasty. We visit Durango, Ouray area for the spectacular views and hikes so don’t be discouraged from taking a vacation in the area due to the rentals.

Durango Summer

Our family had an amazing stop in Durango and this property was a highlight! The resort is beautifully maintained and the condo was well appointed for our family of four. Great location and the amenities, including pool surrounded by lavender plants and hummingbirds was a highlight. Thanks for a great “leg” to our Western, Road Trip!

Great condo with lots of extras. Pleasantly suprised! Location is great too. The living space is huge! The only negative is lots of steps to get into the condo and both bedrooms are upstairs. So, if you have someone who has trouble navigating stairs this is not the unit for you. We would definitely stay here again.

Mother’s Day Weekend

The property location was perfect for our family. The townhome was cozy, clean, and provided all the amenities we needed for a wonderful getaway weekend. Even with our late arrival, the Mineshaft Grill accommodated us with a wonderful take-out dinner. The staff was friendly and made us feel welcome. We will be back!

Amazing Condo!

Our family had a fabulous Spring Break at Purgatory and this condo was the icing on the cake! Only a 10 minute drive from the slopes! The condo was very spacious, updated bathrooms (awesome master shower!) and kitchen. The condo was fully equipped with everything we needed from kitchen supplies, blankets, toiletries, etc. The owners were super friendly and checkin was seamless. The condo is actually even nicer than the pics portray-surpassed our expectations!
