4th Hole Hideaway at Tamarron Resort is our large studio condo (Gambel Oak #757) featuring a full gourmet kitchen, one full bath, and a private deck with views of the Glacier Club’s golf courses and the surrounding San Juan Mountains. Enjoy dinner, drinks, and good conversation while sitting on the back deck's comfortable lounge and dining furniture. It'll be the best way to enjoy the Colorado evenings during your stay! Plus - our Tamarron rental guests can play Glacier's 18-hole Valley Course at an exclusive discounted rate. Details will be provided in your rental instructions.

Our studio's custom finishes and professional decoration are immediately evident and have everything you need for a perfect mountain getaway. The studio floorplan has an open sleeping arrangement with a comfortable California King sized bed and a queen Sofa Sleeper for extra guests. The kitchen is fully stocked and has a dishwasher to make meal prep and clean up a breeze. Though it is not pictured, there is a microwave in the kitchen. The dining table sits four (4) people, and the kitchen island sits two (2) people. There is plenty of space for the guests in the condo to enjoy their meals and extra space for visitors. The bathroom has a tub/shower combo, and the comfortable living room seating is complete with a wall-mounted flat-screen TV. For convenience, the laundry closet in the unit has a clothes washer and dryer for you to use. Great WIFI speeds of 100+ mbps.

ON-SITE AMENITIES AT THE LODGE INCLUDE: indoor pool, outdoor heated pool, outdoor hot tub, sauna, steam shower, fitness center, golf at a special discounted rate, tennis, pickleball, playground, 3 on-site restaurants, and event center. There is an EV Charging Station available for guest use in the Valley Clubhouse parking lot, adjacent to the Tamarron Lodge. Our Tamarron rental guests can play Glacier's 18-hole Valley Course at an exclusive discounted rate. Details will be provided in your rental instructions. There is a $20 per person ski shuttle to purgatory on weekends - tickets must be purchased in advance and the pick-up location is in the Valley Clubhouse parking lot.

LOCATION: Tamarron sits at around 7800 feet in elevation and is just 10 minutes south of Purgatory Ski Resort and 20 minutes north of downtown Durango. Many guests stay here to visit Purgatory Ski Resort, which offers a variety of restaurants, winter and summer activities, and festivals/events.

Top notch. Issue with the voice on the tv. The sound bar was not working. Once we disconnected the SB we had no issues. The place is in great shape.

So let’s start with the positive. The room itself was cozy as shown in the pics. The bed was nice and comfortable. The couches were comfortable and the pull out couch was convenient. Lighting, plumbing, and appliances worked as intended so no complaints there.On to the not so nice parts of our stay
 there was a bit of an overnight noise disturbance every night of our stay. The neighbor above us walked around A LOT and made noise (loud TV, etc.) about 11/11:30pm and into midnight every night. Apparently the floors are quite thin because we heard every step and noise clearly. They were also up pretty early, about 5/5:30 some days, making the same noise. So needless to say, we didn’t sleep too well. What’s crazy is the Check-In instructions say 10pm - 7am is quiet time. Do the neighbors know that??Second inconvenience was the absence of some standard amenities. There was a drip coffee machine but no Keurig. Just about every rental place nowadays (home & hotel) has a Keurig machine because they’re easy and quick, especially while traveling and most people travel with their own K-Cups for that reason. Also, there was no ice or even ice trays for that matter since the ice maker in the freezer looked out of order. Had to go down to the local Walmart & buy ourselves a Keurig machine and ice trays.Overall, can’t say I’d recommend or even stay here again, mostly due to the overnight noise disturbance.

Durango is delightful

We enjoyed the balcony, the privacy, and the comfortable atmosphere. The clean unit had everything we needed, including comfortable furniture and plenty of towels. It was perfect for exploring the Durango area. We really enjoyed watching the birds while having our morning coffee on the balcony.

Personal vacation

Such a awesome spot and we loved the golf course. Great service and food. We saw a Brown Bear real close while sitting on the grass by our condo. That was a suprise! We love the Glacier area we continue to vacay there..highly recommend this area. Thanks for a wonderful stay!

The perfect spot to stay for our family vacation

This was my family’s first trip to the area. The space at the rental property was perfect for us—spacious, thoughtfully appointed, and very peaceful. It was an added bonus to have a playground and multiple restaurants on-site. When we come back to Durango, we’d love to stay here again!

Nice location and stay

Overall a nice place to stay and fantastic views. Due to our stay being early in the week, the on site restaurants were limited to one. So we had to head to Durango (20 min) for eating. Only complaint was the dog odor that lingered despite opening up for ventilation. A little surprising considering we had to attest to not having any animals with us upon check in.

Nice, but probably wouldn’t stay again

Only reason for a 4 star is due to the dog hair in the rental. We were under the impression that pets were not allowed on the property. My wife and I both have dog allergies so we were sniffling and sneezing the entire stay. Probably wouldn’t stay her again because of the allergies but if you’re a pet person than this place is great. Other than that, the listing was a good deal, accurate and matched the pictures/description very well.

Wonderful place and location!

This property was so comfortable and well stocked with day to day items. I worked remotely from here for a few days and it was a perfect setup. Plus being so close to hiking, it was easy to escape during the day to take in some nature. I will definitely re-book this location next time I travel to Durango!

The place was perfect. And had everything we needed. Also has it's own private entryway/porch with just a few easy steps to enter as well as a private balcony. The washer/dryer in the unit was especially helpful. The grounds and views were beautiful. Visit was to see an ill family member. The Collective staff, Cindy and Ana, were especially kind, understanding ,compassionate and accommodating regarding my family matter and situation as my travel plans changed a few times during my stay. As representatives of the Collective their customer service was excellent and what you hope to encounter when making travel plans. I would definitely stay again.
