Duns golf course is a 5-minute walk and there is good fishing nearby on Whittadder water or on the famous River Tweed. Shooting and stalking can be arranged. Hill walking in Lammermuirs or Cheviots, cycling on quiet roads. Visit St Abbs Head to see nesting sea birds in the spring, Coldingham for a lovely sandy beach or take a boat trip to Holy Island and the Farne Islands from Seahouses. Edinburgh is a scenic drive or 40 minutes by train from Berwick. Shop and pubs 2 miles.
