Period features like the wood-framed fireplace make a charming contrast to the eclectic mix of traditional and mid-century furniture.It’s a room made for relaxation, with comfy couches perfect for chilling out in front of the large television with Netflix, as well as a dining table by the bay window with seating for six for enjoying a meal with the view.It’s also a room made for music, with old school records decorating the walls and a keyboard, guitar and record player that guests are encouraged to use. The Palais apartment is named after a former Dundee music venue where many famous acts rocked out in the 60s and 70s, from The Hollies, The Yardbirds to David Bowie – so you might find yourself channeling your inner rockstar and playing some tunes after a glass or wine or two!
