About this space
A beautifully presented Victorian apartment, nestled at the entrance to the historic Dock Park on the outskirts of Dumfries town.
The apartment is cosy and welcoming with good size rooms.
A super comfortable double bed and sofa bed mean it can easily accommodate up to 4 guests. There is good size sitting room, fully equipped kitchen, bathroom with both bath & shower and a separate cloakroom.
Perfectly located, a 5 minute stroll takes you into the center of Dumfries.

The space
Built from local sandstone typical of the town's Victorian era, the ground floor apartment is located in a beautiful part of Dumfries town. Centrally located within easy walking distance to the bars, restaurants and clubs in Dumfries town center, but, in the charming and peaceful entrance to the beautiful Dock Park.
Enter the property to a charming hallway with original period features.
The sitting room is spacious with plenty of comfortable seating, a great space for relaxing in front of the tv or for family games night.
The double bedroom is cosy and beautifully decorated with a super comfortable mattress for a great night sleep after fun packed days exploring everything Dumfries & Galloway has to offer.
There is a well equipped kitchen which is perfect for meal preparation, however, a 2 minute stroll will take you to Pizzeria Il Fiume, one of the most popular restaurants in Dumfries which is also in the Dock Park, alternatively, a 5 minute walk will take you to the center of Dumfries where you will find a choice of restaurants offering a wide variety of cuisine.
The apartment benefits from both a main bathroom with both bath (shorter length) & shower and an additional cloakroom.
There is a small shared courtyard area to the rear of the property with seating for 2 that is great for a relaxing morning coffee or evening glass of wine, but, with the Dock Park on your doorstep you have the biggest garden in town!
The Dock Park itself is a beautiful, park located on the banks of the river Nith and is a lovely place to take a morning walk, however, it also leads to Castledykes Park and the Kingholm Quay cycle path which are great for longer walks.
The park also boasts a great play area for children, dedicated dog park, mini golf, 2 large bowling greens, trampolines and a historic bandstand that has seen many bands over it's 130 years.
The apartment is perfectly located and is an ideal base for exploring Dumfries & Galloway, with the best of both worlds there is the convenience of being centrally located to shops, bars and restaurants but within both walking and driving distance to a multitude of cultural, historic and fun attractions throughout the region.
There is ample parking available for multiple cars directly outside the entrance to the apartment.
We are delighted to welcome pets to the apartment at an additional charge of ÂŁ30 per pet (maximum of 2 well behaved dogs!) Please advise on booking if you are bringing along your furry friends!

The online verification requires a government-issued photo ID and a credit or debit card. During this process, you may choose between a refundable GBP 500 deposit (plus GBP 10 transaction fee currency equivalent) or purchase a non-refundable damage waiver of GBP 40 (currency equivalent) to cover potential damages during your stay.
Once the verification process is successfully completed, check-in information will be provided. If you opted in for a deposit, this will be refunded via credit/debit card after your stay, subject to an inspection of the property.
