We rented a 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom sea-view apartment. Accommodation spacious and well equipped. Location great for us but you do ideally need a car as the nearest village, Slano is approx. 3km away (has all you will need, restaurants, ATM, 2 small supermarkets, pharmacy etc. There is a good and regular bus service and if visitng Dubrovnik for the day(25-30 mins drive away) would recommend as parking is expensive - around ÂŁ3/hr . We self-catered (although we ate out most of the time) in Slano, Ston - recommend Stagnum restaurant & Dubrovnik) as prices reasonable and food is very good,). Some guests appear to be on a breakfast and evening meal arrangement which we were not offered at booking or during our stay but if you don't have a car or want to go out each night then it may be worth asking about this. We didn't need it and stocked up at Lidl on the way from the airport basics and topped up in Slano when needed. Only real drawback of the apartments is the parking - main road runs at back of hotel. the road can be noisy but quietens at night so not a problem and although it is not a particularly busy road the locals do drive very fast and as the exit is on a bend therefore you do need to have all your wits about you when leaving and particularly at night when returning as it isn't very well lit and if all the apartments are occupied parking can be a challenge . However, we managed!
