Additional House Rules & Penalties
These rules are in place to ensure the comfort, safety, and enjoyment of all our guests and neighbors. Violations may result in penalties and/or deductions from your security deposit.

1. Smoking & Fire Alarm Trigger
• Smoking or vaping inside the apartment is strictly prohibited.
• If smoking is detected or if the fire alarm is triggered due to smoke:
Penalty: AED 1,500 per incident (non-negotiable).

2. Lost Access Card
• Please take care of your access card(s).
• Penalty: AED 500 per lost or unreturned access card (non-negotiable).

3. Linen Damage or Permanent Stains
• Guests are liable for any damaged, stained, or heavily soiled linens.
Replacement Charges:
• Towel (each): AED 60
• Bed sheet: AED 165
• Duvet Cover: AED 165
• Pillowcase: AED 30
• Blanket/Duvet: AED 200
Note: Do not wash linens or towels yourself. Damaged items will be charged and deducted from the security deposit.

4. Apartment Damage
• Any damage to furniture, appliances, walls, floors, or fixtures will be charged at replacement or repair cost.
Penalty: Based on damage assessment, including labor/administration fees where applicable.

5. General Housekeeping & Conduct
Please follow these rules during your stay:
• Treat the property as your own home.
• Keep the property clean and tidy at all times.
• Report any issues immediately for your safety and ours.
• Keep windows and balcony doors closed when not in the property.
• Switch off lights when not in use.
• Do not unplug any appliances. Leave them as found.
• Leave the property in the same condition as upon arrival.

6. Prohibited Actions
Strictly not allowed and may result in penalties or immediate eviction:
• Smoking inside the property.
(AED 1,500 fumigation penalty applies if smoke is detected).
• Throwing cigarette butts or trash off balconies or out of windows.
• Disposing of trash anywhere except designated bins or trash chute.
• Hosting parties or events.
• Bringing pets without prior written permission if building permits.
• Disturbing neighbors or creating excessive noise.
• Engaging in illegal or culturally inappropriate activities.
• Giving the key or access card to non-registered guests.
(AED 500 penalty per incident).
• Washing any linens or towels provided by us.
• Subscribing to paid TV channels or services.
(You will be charged the subscription cost, cancellation fee, and AED 100 service fee from Novity Holiday Homes).
• Allowing unapproved visitors or suspicious activity.
(May lead to immediate eviction and forfeiture of the security deposit).

7. Guest Services
• Each guest will receive 1 hand towel and 1 bath towel.
Additional towels are available upon request (charges apply).
• Additional housekeeping can be arranged at extra cost.
• Late check-out may be available upon request (charges apply).
