Cozy, country home surrounded by nature with three bedrooms, two full bathrooms and a sleeper loveseat to host your next getaway. Fully stocked kitchen, washer and dryer, free Wifi and Roku TV's. Barbeque on the deck while enjoying beautiful sunsets or a cup of coffee while watching the sunrise. The gas firepit and electric fireplace provide a cozy atmosphere during the fall and winter months. As the home states, you are nestled in a whitetail haven where you will likely see beautiful whitetail deer and their fawns passing through as they call this area home. Just 15 miles from the Ark Encounter, local dining and shopping. We are centrally located between Lexington KY, Louisville KY and Cincinnati OH. We're 49 miles to the Kentucky Horse park, 48 miles to the Creation Museum, and 34 miles to the Cincinnati Zoo.

Overall the stay was nice. There was plenty of shampoo and soap. There was plenty of toilet paper and silverware. We loved the porch and sat out there most of the time. Just beautiful. When we went to bed we noticed several stains on our sheets. They appeared clean but there were brown stains in the pillow case as well as the fitted and top sheets. We couldn’t hang our clothes up because the closet door was locked and there was no hair dryer in the bathroom. The bath towel was in the bedroom under the nightstand along w the washcloth. Maybe you could figure out a way to put them in the bathroom? Like in a tote under the sink since there wasn’t anything under there? Lastly perhaps better directions of how to get in with your door lock. Our friends had to sit outside several minutes just to find out they didn’t open the lock correctly. When I looked there was only directions how to lock and not unlock the door sent.

We loved our stay, very clean and peaceful. Very convenient to travel to The Ark encounter and Dry Ridge for meals or plenty of equipment to make our own meals with shopping at Walmart if we would have choosen to go that route.

Mothers Day getaway

My wife and I brought our mothers up to see the ark for mother's day. The house was perfect! Clean and cozy, just like we were at home. Enjoy peace and quiet on the covered deck. We had a great stay and a great host.

Complete package

This house was like being at home. It was so nice and they had everything ready for us. It comes equipped with everything a kitchen needs. You have plenty of towels and bath cloths. The beds are so comfortable. Everything was so clean and homey. We really enjoyed our time here and you will too.

Great Little House!!

Very nice home

We had a great time staying at this home. Loved visiting The Ark and Creation Museum. The host were great. Got to meet the husband and he invited us to his deer farm. Got to feed marshmallows to some deer. Very clean and comfortable home

Quiet, clean and tranquil house

The house was very clean and well taken care of. The beds are very comfortable for a great rest.The kitchen is fully stocked with anything you may need. Very peaceful setting with excellent views of deer. Would highly recommend!

Visit to Ark Encounter & Creation Museum

The house had everything we needed and was clean. The beds were comfortable. Had a great weekend at the Ark and Creation Museum. Beans Cafe & Bakery was delicious.

This home is located in what you might feel is out in the middle of no where when actually you are close to so much. The house was very clean and organized with everything you could need. The beds slept amazing with nice large pillows. There is a washer and dryer for your convenience in which you could do a load of laundry in less than an hour. Highly recommend staying here if you are going to the Ark Encounter or just wanting to visit Kentucky.

Just Like Home

Everything is as described. Jackie, the owner, is great. You could literally bring the clothes on your back, a toothbrush and some food and be fine. Seems like the middle of nowhere at first, but, only 15 min to Dry Ridge where you can get whatever you need. Easy to get to Ark and Creation Museum also.

Clean and comfortable. Perfect for us!

This very clean and lovely home was a delight for our group of 4 women. Everyone was happy with this important part of our short vacation. It would have been easier if we’d arrived before dark as road is a bit narrow and winding, but a beautiful relaxing drive in the daylight. Peaceful location but not too secluded. Just what we wanted after enjoying our days at the Creation Museum and Ark Encounter. Good communication made us feel welcomed. Jackie messaged to be sure we got there ok and had all we needed. The beds and pull-out sofa were comfortable with plenty of nice pillows. Kitchen had all the necessities and more, including nice cookware, pantry supplies and spices. We brought our own coffee for the coffee pot, but lots of coffee and creamer were provided, one of several nice touches. We appreciate the thought and effort that went into making a wonderful place to stay! Wish we’d had time to use the grill and enjoy the fire pit on the deck, but we all loved sitting in the morning sun on the front porch. Had nice evening walks with beautiful sunsets. We also enjoyed the friendly atmosphere and a delicious meal at Bean’s Café and Bakery before heading home. We had a great trip in every way! Thanks very much!
