Ellencroft is a lovely single storey cottage in a very peaceful location at the end of a private drive and surrounded by rolling countryside. It provides lots of comfortable accommodation, the extensive lawned garden is great for ball games and the 'Croft' with its field and wild orchard is perfect for picnics and children's adventures.
The views are wonderful across the garden to the adjoining fields, often dotted by woolly sheep.
This is a brilliant location with all of the Peak District's attractions like Chatsworth House, Haddon Hall and the Derwent Dams just a short drive away. But you might be tempted by some of the more local attractions. Bolsover's magnificent castle or beautiful Hardwick Hall should be on your list. Sheffield and Meadowhall are close to hand with theatres and shopping, and it's not that much further to picturesque Clumber Park and Robin Hood's Sherwood Forest!
INSIDE THE PROPERTY:
Lounge: with patio doors to the garden, views across to the fields, comfortable seating, TV, DVD player, Freeview and WiFi.
Kitchen Diner: with quality units, five burner hob, double oven, microwave, fridge and dishwasher; dining table and chairs with views of the garden and fields.
Bedroom 1: Master bedroom with double bed and similar views.
Bedroom 2: a second double bedroom.
Bedroom 3: with twin beds.
Shower Room: with power shower in spacious cubicle with grab rails, WC and basin.
OUTSIDE:
There is a large patio terrace with garden furniture, extensive lawned garden, and access to the 'Croft' with its field and wild orchard.
Parking for up to four cars is available to the front of the property.
Bed linen and towels are provided.
Central heating and power are included.
A cot and high chair can be requested.
One dog is welcome.
Smoking is not permitted.
