The path into the property is unpaved and has a flattened caliche road so please keep this in mind when planning your transportation.

Reservation Agreement

Lodgewell, as the management company, requires a separate reservation agreement to be signed digitally. This agreement is emailed to your personal email address and is designed to outline specific rules and expectations for this property, as defined by the owner. It supplements the general terms provided at the time of booking. If you'd like to review the agreement in advance, please let us know and we’ll be happy to send a copy.



Important Property Details & Considerations

Road Access

The final stretch of road to the property is unpaved and made of caliche. While an SUV or truck is helpful, it is not required.



Phone Signal

There is no cell phone service at the property. Please plan accordingly.



Wi-Fi

The property is equipped with limited satellite internet. Connectivity may vary depending on weather conditions and usage.



Rain & Tipi Design

Traditional tipis have an open structure at the top and cannot be completely sealed. During rainy conditions, it is possible that a few drops of water may enter the space.



Cooling Systems

Portable AC systems are provided but may struggle to maintain low temperatures during extreme heat. These systems typically cool the interior by about 20 degrees below the outdoor temperature and function best once the day begins to cool down.



Wear & Tear

Due to the natural environment and structure type, some wear is to be expected. Canvas surfaces may show signs of dirt, staining, small rips, or tears.



Lighting & Navigation

Dark skies are one of the property’s features. Please bring a flashlight or headlamp to move safely around the grounds after sunset.



Pets

Pets are welcome with prior approval. A signed pet agreement is required, and a fee of $25 per pet will be charged separately after booking.

Two pets max with a combined weight of 60 lbs.

We kindly ask that pets stay off the furniture to keep things fresh for everyone. An additional cleaning fee may apply if excessive pet hair is found.



Children

This property has not been childproofed. The environment is similar to a camping experience and includes gravel paths, natural terrain, and potential wildlife. Parents should assess whether this experience is suitable for their children.



Liability Waiver

Guests acknowledge that they are staying at the property at their own risk. There are inherent risks associated with rural accommodations, including but not limited to wildlife encounters, uneven terrain, hiking, and the unique characteristics of a tipi or canvas dwelling.



By booking, you accept full responsibility for the safety and well-being of yourself and all members of your party. This includes any accidents or injuries, including those related to health conditions, intoxication, use of medication or drugs, or pregnancy. You agree to hold the property owner and management company harmless from any and all liability claims arising from your stay.



By completing the booking, all guests in your party acknowledge and accept the terms outlined in this waiver and agree that it constitutes a binding and enforceable agreement.



Interaction with Guests:

You will have the entire Stargazer Tent to yourself.

We use a simple self-check-in / check-out method.
