The house was so comfortable for two families and a grandma. Lots of room for the kids to hang downstairs. The location was absolutely amazing and the short walk to the beach was wonderful. Would 100% stay again!

Perfect!

This house was perfect for our family vacation. The location was great for walking to the beach and the Root Beer Barrel and coffee shop. The house was clean and spacious and had everything we needed. Would highly recommend if you’re looking for something near Douglas and Saugatuck.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this Douglas gem. Our family included our new 2 month old granddaughter this year! The finished basement area gave plenty of space and privacy for them. A short walk to Douglas beach, coffee and the Root Beer Barrel. We also enjoyed s'mores by the firepit. Highly recommend!

This house is fantastic. It is exactly as advertised, clean and spacious. It is a great location with only a short walk to Douglas Beach. It had everything my family needed for our stay. I would love to rent this property again - it was perfect.

Fabulous property!

This house was amazing. The kitchen was very well appointed, with everything we needed. The entire house was very clean and neat upon our arrival, and the host kindly had it cleaned early for us, as we had traveled a long way and were getting in earlier than check in time. The host was easily accessible which was great, although we didn't have any issues, but thank you for being available! There was a lot to do at the house itself; horseshoes, firepit, outside grill and eating area, shuffleboard, etc. The area had so much to offer: a short distance walk to a coffee shop, a root beer keg, several wineries within close driving distance, two lovely historical towns nearby, not to mention the small (but plenty of room!) local beach within walking distance, which had beautiful sunsets! Would definitely stay here again. Big thumbs up!!!

Perfect from beginning to end!

Excellent time at this lovely home just around the corner from the most wonderful Lake Michigan beach. Shane answered all questions, and communication was detailed, friendly and prompt. Beautiful furnishings, great vibe. Lots of wonderful amenities. Comfy beds, amazing fire pit. Couldn’t have asked for anything more!

Long weekend with family

We took our two girls who are still living at home and met up with their older brothers and the better halves - the perfect location for quick access to Saugatuck and a very nice public beach, just a block down the road. The house was clean, had a great back yard with large deck, fire pit and horseshoes! Perfect for our group of 8. The house was equipped with the essentials. Thanks for letting us use your home for our long weekend with family!

Wonderful house!

Fabulous property, beautiful, clean, stocked with every amenity we could ever need and then some. Loved the house setup, finished basement for kids, firepit, welcome basket with smores supplies. Notebook with house/ neighborhood info was so helpful. Found the great little shortcut to the beach! This property worked out perfectly for our family of 9 and is beautifully managed. Highly recommend!

Perfect Saugatuck/Douglas Girls Weekend!

This house was perfect for our girls weekend! Amazing location that made it easy to get downtown, to the beach, and surrounding wineries/breweries. Shane was the perfect host as well, making sure that we got all the needed information for check in as well as a sweet welcome basket! My only suggestion is to try and have people carpool if they’re coming from the same area, but we were able to make it work with all ten of us coming from different directions. You won’t regret staying in this beautiful and spacious house!

Love this place!

We’ve been coming for years. Love the Douglas Beach and walking/biking Lakeshore Rd. This home is ideally located. Loved working with Shane, the owner. He makes it simple. Home is very clean and well cared for. Layout for our family was the best. Loved the fire pit at night. Beds are extremely comfortable. It’s a great place and I highly recommend it!!!!

Lovely home in beautiful area

We enjoyed our week in this home. Very comfortable and cozy. Loved the back yard fire pit. The lower level sectional was a favorite place for all seven of us the relax in the evening play games and watch movies. We enjoyed walking to Douglas beach and riding our bikes around the neighborhood.

Family Beach Vacation

Our week-long vacation was just what the family needed. We gathered for the first time since the shut-down at this lovely home, and went to the beach every day. The Coastal Pines home accommodations were perfect. A large enough table, inside and out, for meals and board games. We walked over to the lake to see the sunset every evening. A perfect week for us, thank you!

Great Stay, Close to the Beach

When we walked in for the first time there was soothing music on the TVs and it was very welcoming and clean! We had 4 adults and 5 kids and there was plenty of room for everyone. The finished basement was great for the kids to hang out as they had their own room with 3 beds down there...tv and shuffleboard. Two full size fridges in the house was great so that we didn't have to worry about fridge space! The location was great as it was only a short 2 minute walk to the beach stairs. Great for walks every day down lakeshore drive. Close drive (less than 10 minutes) to Saugatuck as well for the downtown shops/boats, etc. We saw packs of deer walking by each and every day, very cool. The backyard is in a wooded area, so bring the bug spray for the mosquitos. Overall it was a great stay and everyone loved it. Would definitely recommend!

Great trip at a beautiful home

The home was absolutely stunning and perfect for a weeklong vacation. The basement and fire pit were great places to enjoy the evenings while our 18 month old slept soundly. You can’t ask for a better location, and the neighborhood is really peaceful. A highlight for our kiddo was seeing deer every morning and evening in the backyard. Thank you to Shane for being a great host.
