Un petit coin de paradis
Le logement a beaucoup de caractÚre et un charme fou, tout est propre et neuf. La maison est petite mais suffisante pour deux. Nous avons particuliÚrement aimé l'extérieur trÚs bien aménagé avec terrasse, salon de jardin et parasol ! Les propriétaires sont charmants et trÚs discrets. La maison est idéalement située si vous désirez visiter la Gueldres. Ce fut trÚs appréciable de faire peu de kilomÚtres pour visiter chaque ville. Doornspijk nous a offert son calme, sa verdure et le chant de ses oiseaux. Nous avons adoré notre séjour là -bas, trÚs reposant.
2 petites choses qui pourraient ĂȘtre amĂ©liorĂ©es dans la maison :
- L'escalier qui mĂšne Ă la chambre. Celui est trĂšs trĂšs Ă©troit, trĂšs raide et donc trĂšs difficile Ă monter et descendre, mĂȘme pour une personne en bonne forme physique. Donc si vous avez des problĂšmes de mobilitĂ© il vous sera impossible d'accĂ©der Ă la chambre. Ma compagne a des soucis de genoux et il lui Ă©tait vraiment difficile de monter et descendre.
- Un petit peu plus d'accessoires de cuisine serait parfait (c'est un détail) comme une passoire et une essoreuse à salade (les français aiment cuisiner).
Je prĂ©cise que ces dĂ©tails-lĂ ne nous ont pas empĂȘchĂ© de passer un super sĂ©jour et nous recommandons fortement cette location!

The accommodation has a lot of character and crazy charm, everything is clean and new. The house is small but sufficient for two. We particularly liked the very well-appointed exterior with terrace, garden furniture and parasol! The owners are charming and very discreet. The house is ideally located if you want to visit Gelderland. It was very nice to travel a few kilometers to visit each city. Doornspijk offered us its calm, its greenery and the song of its birds. We loved our stay there, very relaxing.
2 small things that could be improved in the house:
- The staircase leading to the bedroom. It is very very narrow, very steep and therefore very difficult to go up and down, even for a person in good physical shape. So if you have mobility problems it will be impossible for you to access the bedroom. My wife has knee problems and it was really difficult for her to go up and down.
- A little more kitchen accessories would be perfect (it's a detail) like a colander and a salad spinner (the French like to cook).
I specify that these details did not prevent us from having a great stay and that we highly recommend this rental!
