The George W. Bush Estate Home is one of Tamarack Resort's most iconic residences, famously hosting former President George W. Bush in 2005. Perched high on West Mountain, this stunning 3,965 sqft custom estate home epitomizes classic mountain lodge style + is near skiing/golf. This inviting retreat sleeps 12, and with a cozy separate apartment, it's ideal for large families who love outdoor adventure and luxurious amenities, including a private hot tub + chef's kitchen.




Please note there is currently a home being built on the property next door and there may be increased noise and vehicle traffic on weekdays from 9AM-6PM.

Tamarack Resort is a four-season destination 90 miles north of Boise; it's the perfect basecamp for your west central Idaho adventures, located between the recreation opportunities in Cascade and McCall or those further afield. Nestled on 3,500 acres with 2,800 feet of vertical and adjacent to Lake Cascade, it offers year-round recreation, including some of the best skiing and snowboarding in Idaho, Nordic and snowshoe trails, hiking, downhill and cross country mountain biking, zipline tours, whitewater rafting, and motorized and non-motorized water sports. You'll have the entire main home and apartment to yourself. The main house offers a fully-equipped kitchen, 4 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, private keyless entry, in-unit washer and dryer, large outdoor deck, + private hot tub. The apartment offers a kitchen, 1 bedroom, and 1 bathroom.

You'll have access to a 1-car detached garage (the one closest to the home). The other 1-car garage space is not available to guests.

You'll also have access to the numerous amenities offered by Tamarack Resort; gas firepit at the Lodge at Osprey Meadows, pickleball courts, disc golf, and resort cross-country hiking/biking trails. This property doesn't have access to the Lodge fitness center, pool, or hot tub, but don't worry--the mountain is your gym, Lake Cascade is the perfect place to take a dip, and you've got your own private hot tub at the house!

Bush Estate Home --perched at the top of the Pinnacle Estates neighborhood on .5 acre, this secluded hideaway is fantastic for large groups to gather and create lasting memories! The main house sleeps 8 and features 4 bedrooms and 3 bedrooms, a fully-stocked chef's kitchen, a mudroom, and a laundry room. A breezeway connects to the garage and above-garage 1 bedroom/1bathroom apartment, which sleeps 5 and has its own kitchen. The location within Tamarack Resort is fantastic--you'll enjoy breathtaking views of Lake Cascade and the Long Valley, and being adjacent to the Morel Trail, you can easily explore the natural beauty and outdoor adventures of the resort; you're just minutes from golf, chairlifts, and the excitement of the Village. Maximum occupancy is 12 people.

The moment you step inside, you'll be greeted by a warm and inviting ambiance, with custom natural finishes and exposed beams. The open concept living space flows seamlessly between the living room, kitchen, and dining room, which is perfect for entertaining. The spacious living room provides ample space for large families to gather, as well as a wood burning fireplace. For the culinary enthusiasts, the chef's kitchen has everything you need to whip up delicious meals, including a gas range, two sinks, and an unbelievable amount of storage and counter space! The dining table seats 12.

PRIMARY BEDROOM
The primary bedroom is incredibly spacious, and in addition to the cozy king bed features a gas fireplace and seating area. Take your coffee on your own private covered deck, only accessible from the primary bedroom. The ensuite is spa-like, with a deep soaker tub, massive walk-in shower with double shower heads, and an expansive walk-in closet.

GUEST BEDROOMS
The main house offers three guest bedrooms, two of which have large walk-in closets. Each room offers a smart TV for your comfort.

APARTMENT
The above-garage apartment offers the perfect balance of privacy and togetherness for your group. This charming space has WIFI, a large smart TV, dining table, and well-supplied kitchen (dishwasher, stove top, microwave, and refrigerator). The bedroom sleeps 5 and has lots of storage with two separate walk-in closets.

OUTDOOR LIVING
Numerous outdoor living areas allow you to fully embrace and enjoy the beautiful natural surroundings. The expansive wraparound deck has ample seating as well as an outdoor woodburning fireplace. Whether you're spending time with family and friends around the built-in firepit, or stargazing from your private hot tub, you'll find each moment here to be an exquisite retreat.

PARKING
Guests will only have access to the detached 1-car garage nearest the main house (the other 1-car garage is locked off and cannot be accessed). The driveway can fit four additional vehicles.

RECOMMENDATIONS:
*If you're flying into Boise International Airport, we recommend renting a vehicle directly from the airport.

*It's possible to get an Uber from Boise/BOI to Tamarack Resort, although it's not necessarily a reliable mode of travel; depending on your arrival time and season, you may have difficulty finding a driver who will accept your ride. Uber is not currently accepting advance reservations for trips to Tamarack Resort from Boise; on-demand rides will be your only option.
