Originally built in the 1890s as a potting shed adjoining the walled garden of the main house, the cottage was lovingly renovated in 2019 by its owners. With light-filled interiors, elegant design and peaceful surroundings, The Pottage is an idyllic escape for families or couples seeking a memorable Suffolk stay.



The spacious living area has been thoughtfully designed for both relaxation and gathering together, with inviting sofas and a wood-burning stove creating a cosy focal point during cooler evenings. A Smart TV, books, games and puzzles provide entertainment for leisurely afternoons and evenings indoors. The kitchen features modern conveniences, including an induction hob, electric oven, combi-microwave, dishwasher and American-style fridge freezer. A dining table with church pew seating makes it ideal for family breakfasts, relaxed lunches or long evenings spent together.



The private enclosed courtyard garden offers a quiet outdoor space with seating for four, ideal for dining outside or relaxing during your stay. Guests are also welcome to enjoy the surrounding grounds, with a short walk leading to the summerhouse overlooking the woodland. Beyond this, extensive woodland paths can be explored at your leisure throughout your stay.



Off-road parking for two cars is available for added convenience.



The Pottage has two comfortable bedrooms designed to suit both couples and families. The master bedroom features a super king-size bed, Smart TV and en-suite shower room with heated towel rail. The second bedroom includes a double bed and a full-size single bed, offering flexible sleeping arrangements. A family bathroom with a bath and shower over completes the accommodation.
