Our room was great. The restaurant is very nice and the food was good and we also liked the option to order a meat and three instead of all you can eat.
The property is in complete disarray in the middle of renovation. We were put in a dilapidated old building that was so bad from the outside we didnât even want to go into the room. Staff was less than helpful. Nowhere on their website do they describe the property as being anything other than lovely and charming. They would not give us a full refund either. Horrible experience for New Years Eve. Luckily we found a wonderful hotel in downtown Clayton.
Really appreciate the heat and the TV being on prior to walking into the room. A very nice touch.
Aliye and Sarah, at the front office/registration, are sharp and pleasant.
Room clean is very old outdated, they are under construction remodeling breakfast is served open table and very accommodating I had eggs made at request our server was attentive
Rooms were very nice and clean. Beds are very comfortable. Staff was very friendly. The restaurant manager found out that I had to get up and leave my Christmas Eve dinner due to being sick, he not only did not charge for my food but he sent me a plate with some other food and even ginger ale. I was very appreciative of that kindness.
Room was clean and spacious. Breakfast was delicious, but I was disappoionted that I could not take my unfinished items with me. I was told there were no boxes to be able to do so.
Rooms were great. The restaurant has really gone down over the years. The breakfast was not good cheap sausage cold big potatoes and the country cured ham was horrible. It was disappointing compared to pass year. Profit over guality.
Room was as pictured. However there was no WiFi and the images on the television were very grainy. When I called on multiple occasions about the WiFi I could never connect with anyone. They also were doing renovations which caused my vehicle to get very muddy. I believe it could have been better but I donât think Iâll ever stay there again.
Was closed off to main building, which is what we wanted to see,and grounds a mess due to reconstruction going on.
Room was beautiful though.
Food just ok
Clean room, comfortable bed, nice views from back deck, spacious bathroom with fan. Front desk personnel were helpful in directing us through construction sites. Room wifi reliable, charger nice extra, need netfix.
Restaurant service was friendly but extremely slow and food just okay. Only mac-n-cheese & cornbread were hot.
Outdoor seating areas with fire/smores great idea/bonus.
Dillard house is under complete renovation including the restaurant and hotel and I would consider it a construction site. The hotel room was filled with older technology and furnishings. The room smelled musty. Wallpaper was falling off the wall. The sink drains did not have traps. The bathtub was slimy. The sliding glass door was broken. The only favorable thing I could say was the beds were newer, comfortable and clean. I will not stay there again until renovations are completed.
