I have been coming to Sand Piper Cove since 1994 and this property has never been a disappointment for my family I have carried my children there and now blessed to be able to carry my grand children it's the only place to stay for a wonderful family experience so thank you for sharing your property with us

Could use more towels, washcloths and hand towels, dish cloths and dish towels.The bed in 2nd bedroom needs to be replaced, it is not comfortable at all. The suite bedroom was comfortable. Views are wonderful from both rooms and large deck and plenty of seating for sitting outside. Gated area and private beach was nice!

However, this time we could really see the wear and tear on the unit. Could use new bedroom linens and pillows. Very little water pressure in master bathroom. New toilets would be nice. But overall a nice place to stay.

Reviewer Comments: We always have such a great time in Destin and this time was no different! We always love staying at 2143 the view is great! Upon arrival I will say we did find a roach in the bathroom, we quickly took care of that and didn’t have any other issues. Our stay didn’t disappoint again. It was just very disheartening to pay double than last year to stay the same amount of time. We’d love to keep coming but if the price keeps doubling I’m not sure we can continue to go.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: If you're looking for a condo experience with ocean views from every room and a huge balcony, this unit is IT. Great place to relax and entertain. Well-appointed kitchen, plenty of living space, lots of storage (and hangers!) so you aren't living out of your suitcase. Short walk to easternmost boardwalk, parking lot, and Rick's, and largest pool is just across the street to the left of the gatehouse. Perfect location for everyone in your party. My only caveat is that it didn't come with beach service like many other units do, and even though I paid through several days my chairs were not in the same place every day so we had to search while lugging our stuff once we got to the beach. I've stayed at SC many times over the past 3 decades as a kid and now with my own; highly recommend this gem of a community.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We enjoyed our stay very much. The condo was spacious and the views were beautiful. The deck was large and the beach was just steps away! We were a little disappointed by the lack of kitchen supplies. We only received one garbage bag, one roll of paper towel, one dishwasher powder, and no hairdryer. There were no cleaning supplies for the kitchen or bathroom except for a small bottle of dish soap and a couple hand soap bars. For a condo that allows for 6 people to stay, this definitely was not sufficient and we had to go buy additional supplies which wasn't in our plans. The cooling system was also a bit unpredictable, but we didn't mess around with it to figure it out. All in all, other than being unprepared with the lack of supplies, this was a wonderful place to stay!

Other than the wifi password not working, no complaints. This is an amazing location, waking up to oceanfront views. It was simple steps away and you were on the beach.

8 days of beach paradise

Check in was simple and the people were helpful and friendly. When we got to the condo it looked cleaned but had sandy floors so we swept before unloading but that is expected at the beach. They actually have a king size bed in one the rooms and not 2 queens. There were extra blankets and pillows in the closet. Extra towels under the bathroom sinks. Kitchen was well equipped and the condo stayed cool the entire time. The views from the back balcony were amazing you could see a long ways. There were plenty of outside seating. We could see the 4th of July fireworks from there. It was nice falling asleep to the sound of waves. There were plenty of room for our family of 6. It was an easy access to the beach and to the restaurant. We will definitely be back to rent this condo!

Condo Needs Serious Updating

Reviewer Comments: I have been coming to Destin over 45 years and have stayed in this condo many times. The one positive is the location. It is a great view. However, this condo needs serious updating. Bed mattresses are terrible, sofa sleeper springs are broken and sticking out. Furniture is dirty and hasn't been replaced in many, many years. So many cracks and looks moldy in bathrooms. Floors where transitioning to wood to tile have nothing in between and you can see the plywood. Hate to see such poor maintenance especially at the prices we're paying today. I expect clean and not thread bare sheets; decent mattresses and pillows when you're staying week(s) at a time. Hope this gets to the owners... as I said, it's a great location. Condo needs some serious updating and maintenance.
