Welcome to our newly renovated home, Grates Place, located within the highly sought after Destiny East. Destiny East is a gated beachside community, featuring impeccable amenities for your pleasure and creating vacation memories. Two pools, spa, fitness center, putting green, playground, tennis and basketball courts, IMAX theater. All community amenities are accessible with golf cart.
Wristbands are required to access community pools and amenities.
Easy .5 mi drive to public beach access at The Crab Trap which provides dedicated golf cart parking.

This renovated home comes equipped with all the perks including a 6 passenger golf cart (must be driven by a licensed driver at all times). Golf cart with Bluetooth speaker. The city of Destin permits golf cart use on any roads with 35mph or less. Crossing Hwy 98 is acceptable to reach Destin Commons and Silver Sands.
High speed WIFI
5 Samsung smart TVs with popular app accounts installed
Keurig coffee maker 12 cup pot or pod. Uses standard basket filters.

The house was great space and accommodated all of us. The amenities left for a group of 10 are not quite enough to get you started for the week. Be prepared to have to buy amenities immediatelyfor the week for your group. There was no cleaning supplies for basic needs for cleaning off the kitchen table or the countertops, no kitchen towels or linens available. I would give the property five stars except for the linens, did not feel very fresh and very dated. Overall bathrooms and kitchen needs a bit of a good scrub. Loved the golf cart and easy accessibility to the beach and community playground. Owners are super helpful and responsive to anything we needed and always respond back so quickly and are very accommodating. Pool was so much fun for the family and kept us entertained during a colder than normal week!

We had a great stay at this property. There was plenty of room for our group of 5 ladies. The house was just as we expected. Having the use of the golf cart was an added bonus even if we did use it as much as we thought as we had a few chilly days.Communication with the host eas wuick and easy. Highly recommend this place for anyons looking in this area.

Wonderful house! Shannon and Todd are great hosts. This is a perfect home for someone flying into Destin!The house is fully stocked with everything you need: Golf cart, 4 bikes, 2 beach coolers, two fridges, 6 nice beach chairs, 6 extra pool towels, pool toys/floats, 4 pickleball paddles, a football and a basketball! This was an ideal house for our set up. We had grandparents staying on the first floor, and everyone else (4 kids and 2 adults) on the second floor which was perfect. The beach is a quick golf cart ride away where parking at the Crap Trap was free and easy.

What a great area! The heated pool was so nice as the temps were in the 60s. Gold art included was an awesome bonus. Beach entrance and nice restaurant less than 1/2 mile away! Shannon our host was just a text away. Home was accommodating. Had everything we needed.

Perfect getaway house for travelers with toddlers

The owners responded to every question and inquiry that we had. We noticed that the pool skimmer was ripped while we were trying to clean out the pool from the storm that came through, and they had a new skimmer delivered that same day and had a pool cleaners come out finish cleaning. They helped get streaming services to work, and never made me feel like I was an inconvenience to them. No matter how many time I texted them haha.The house was perfect for toddlers because there was no small “nic-nicks” for them to grab or break. This is a very minimalistic house with all the comforts of home you will need. It’s close to the beach and restaurants but in a quiet gated neighborhood. So, when you need to get away from the beach crowd the house is only a 5 minute golf cart ride away! I will book again when we return to Destin!We had a great time, and the house made it more comfortable for us! :)

Wonderful place to visit!

Our family had an amazing time here, so nice to have all the amenities like a heated pool, golf cart as well as access to the playground, pickleball court etc. The house was well equipped with everything, and we would happily recommend to future guests! It was a short walk to the beach which was honestly the best beach we’ve ever seen!

Great Stay

Had a great time at this property. Liked it so much we tried to book another stay in February but they were booked. If you have toddler they have plenty of stuff to accommodate. We loved the private pool, and the golf cart is always a good time there. Thanks y’all!
