Great location with direct beach access! The home has lots of space, with plenty of bath towels and linens. We didn’t spend much time in the home, but I really appreciated Hillary’s excellent communication. She made sure the check-in process went smoothly, and when I accidentally locked myself out one day, she quickly helped me get back in. I was very thankful for her responsiveness and assistance.

The property was beautiful, nicely renovated, and the photos accurately reflected the home and location. The private beach access was amazing and definitely a highlight of our stay. There were some wasps near the gate, which unfortunately caused one guest to be stung, but the host was responsive and immediately reached out to pest control. We truly appreciated their effort, even though it couldn’t be fully resolved over the weekend.

The location was great and the house was decorated nicely. However, the master bedroom upstairs had dirty sheets with blood on them on arrival that had to be washed before anyone could sleep on them. The toilet in the very bottom level would hardly flush and was leaking water all over the floor. There were also several large roaches that were found during the stay. The very bottom floor had a very musty smell and you could see water marks on the bottoms of the doors etc where it had once flooded. Makes you wonder if there is mold.

This properly was as advertised. It was our second stay. Some safety upgrades have been made since our last visit which were nice. House could use some extra blankets and also spices etc etc in the kitchen. We were not able to access the property at check in, but the property mgmnt folks were responsive and changed the given codes about twenty minutes later. Once in the property everything was fine. Beach access and umbrella service was excellent. Location is excellent. The patio area is in need of maintenance. Dry rot and mold were visible. All in all it’s a nice property with the positives far outweighing any negatives.

Prime Location, Poor Execution: A Stay That Needs Serious TLC

The location of this property is stunning, with unbeatable beach access and nearby amenities. However, our stay was overshadowed by significant issues.Communication with the host was poor, causing stress from the start. Questions often went unanswered, and upon arrival, we couldn’t access the house due to an incorrect code. Resolving this required a locksmith and caused delays. Additionally, incorrect WiFi access instructions took days to fix, compounding the frustration.The property had severe maintenance and cleanliness issues. The lower level was unusable due to a sewer backup, leaving standing water and a strong odor. While plumbers were sent, their visits disrupted our plans and left the house unsanitary with dirt tracked inside. The plumbing problems also attracted cockroaches, which we found in the basement and kitchen.The outdoor areas were equally disappointing. The deck was unsafe, with chipped paint, splinters, and rusty nails. The outdoor space was neglected, with trash left by previous guests, which detracted from the experience.Though the location is undeniably excellent, these serious issues need immediate attention. I hope the host takes steps to improve the property for future guests.

We loved this location, I don't know if there is a better spot to enjoy the beach than this one. My grandkids and I spent three days at this wonderful property. The property is in a very quiet and safe neighborhood. The amenities offered by the host were outstanding. My family and I would gladly book this location again.

Simple Perfection

I was in town for business and needed a quiet, convenient place to call home for a few days. This house hit the mark and then some. The property was exactly as described and pictured and the check-in, check-out process could not have been easier. The furniture, linins and such are first class. The deck was a great place to spend some time working. Absolutely stunning view of the beach and the neighborhood could not have been anymore peaceful. I will stay here again next time I am in town.

Beautiful beach vacation

We loved this property. It was the perfect location. We thought we were going to go out and explore more than we actually did. We spent majority of our time down by the beach. Walking up and seeing the beautiful sunrise as everybody ate breakfast was amazing.

Issues regarding our stay

The host responded in a timely manner and the location was convenient to get to the beach. However, there were lots of issues. Upon arrival, we were given the passcode to the lock pad at the front door. It was not working and the door was already unlocked. Then, the house had a MOLDY scent that made all of us feel uncomfortable and uneasy. We had to buy candles for every room and the living room. Then, every shower still had strands and clumps of hair on the floor and walls along with MOLD in the corners. All the beds still had hair and stains on them so we had to buy new bed sets for all the beds. The basement room closet had a pile of dirty and used pillows along with a pile of someone else’s dirty t-shirts. The floors, especially the basement, were filled with dirt, crumbs and snacks from previous renters. We spent hours vacuuming the whole place. We even had to buy cleaning supplies to clean the counters, showers and toilets. With everything that happened made my whole family unsatisfied with our stay. On top of that, the host tried to argue with me about what time we checked in. My family and I arrived around 5pm but somehow it marked us has checking in at 11am that morning which is impossible. We had just left our house at that time. We live in Georgia. If their Google Nest door camera actually works, they will see what time we arrived. The host also refused to give us any type of refund even after sending her proof of how dirty the house was.

This was our 3rd year staying at this location but first time in this unit! Absolutely stocked with everything you would need! The personalized beach towels were a super nice touch! The beds and linens were top notch! We will definitely be back next summer!

The townhouse was beautiful inside. It was comfortable and welcoming. However, I think the cleaning people forgot to vacuum the 2 pretty blue couches because it was full of sand and some type of pet hair. I think maybe a cat because I'm allergic to cats, and my eyes got all itchy and was sneezing like crazy. Other than that, the place was beautiful and had everything we needed.

Amazing

I know everyone has different expectations for their vacations. But this place was amazing. Yes we had a hiccup or two along the way. But the response from the property owner was topnotch. The location was beautiful, the town house was beautiful and we would stay there again. My husband even asked if I thought it would be an overkill for just the two of us. Needless to say I would book with Dustin again and have already shared the location with other friends looking for a property to accommodate a large group. Do yourself a favor book the trip and make the memories.

Great location however



The location is wonderful. The 2 kitchens and washer/dryer set up is fantastic for large groups. The beach access and chair service was fantastic; however, the townhouse itself needs many repairs. We encountered several major issues including: 3 water leaks in the ceiling of the main level living area and kitchen which splattered black mold all over the living area, a stopped up sink in the master bedroom on the 3rd floor, dirty bathrooms, refrigerator, floors throughout the house, a large wasps nest on the main level deck, nails sticking up on the walkway to the beach, a broken electrical outlet in the playroom in plain sight, trash from previous tenants scattered all about the main level, and inaccurate Wi-Fi log in information for 2 days. Communication with the owner was very difficult and after having spent multiple hours on the phone holding for VRBO customer service nothing was done.

Great location. Nice home.

Perfect location right off the beach! The property was exactly as pictured and was nice and modern. We had everything we needed including towels, linens, and pots/ pans. The description does say the home can sleep 18 but it really only sleeps 15. We had a couple of people sleeping on the couches which wasn’t a problem. We were overbooked for our first night but the owner was very helpful. He booked another home for us for that night and provided a partial refund. We would definitely stay here again!
