Beach-side, beautiful low-rise with uncrowded beach!

A condo with a view Unit 46! A direct line of vision of the gulf from two balconies, one off of the main bedroom and the other off the living room. This unit is located on the 4th floor of the Penthouse Building. It is a two-bedroom, 2.5 bath, 2 story unit with its own washer and dryer room, and a well-equipped, remodeled kitchen. Both bedrooms (with private baths) are located on the second floor of the condo; the main bedroom faces south with the ocean view and has two queen beds with upscale and new mattresses. The guest bedroom faces north with two twin beds with new mattresses. In order to sleep a total of 11 people, there is also 2 pull-out queen sofas and 1 twin sleeper in the living room. Silver Dunes has always been family-oriented so we left a highchair/playpen in the main closet. Non-smoking. As a child, I never wanted to leave this safe, happy haven, and I would drag myself to the station wagon to depart. It is my hope that your stay will generate such exquisite memories that you will drag yourself away at the end of your stay – and drag yourself back again!

Beach Service – If you didn’t pre-reserve beach chairs, just stop by the beach hut or call the Excel team at In addition to chairs and umbrellas, Excel offers kayaks and paddle boards for rent, as well as an assortment of snacks and drinks.
Tennis, Basketball, Pickleball, and Shuffleboard – Forget your gear? No worries, you can check out rackets, balls, and more at the front desk at no charge!
Grilling Out – In the busy months of spring and summer, many families opt to grill out rather than go out. We have eight charcoal grills available. There are several seafood markets nearby, including Blalock’s which is just a block to the west (p.s., their tuna dip is a must try!).
Fitness Center – Did you know we have a fitness center in the Penthouse building? Just stop by the front desk to borrow the key.
Family Activities – There’s always something fun on the itinerary at Silver Dunes:
• Annual Easter Egg Hunt in the Courtyard – Easter Sunday, 9 am in the courtyard
• Scavenger Hunts – Throughout the Spring – for children of all ages! Just stop by the office to pick up your scavenger hunt necessities. Once you’ve collected everything, stop back by the office to pick a surprise from the Silver Dunes treasure chest!
• Movies in the Courtyard – Bring a picnic blanket, your beach chairs, and join us on Mondays at dusk throughout June and July. We show a different family-friendly movie each week.
• S’mores Nights with Live Music at the Pool –Wednesday nights are awesome at Silver Dunes! Throughout June and July, the firepits will be out, s’mores roasting, and tunes playing!
