Take advantage of the summer desert heat with a refreshing splash in the pool (unheated for maximum cooling). There’s even a bohemian cooling bungalow next to the pool if you’d rather stay in the shade but love to be close to the water. Or, if you crave a vitamin D boost, sneak away to the private sunbathing area and soak in the sun where it doesn’t usually shine (ha!)

Track live launch video at Spacex dot com, then step outside, and look to the West: 1 minute after launch, the rocket is clearly visible as it climbs above the western mountains, separates stages, and streaks across the southwestern sky, all while you track its live telemetry. If you’ve got kids, feel free to bring bikes, skateboards, scooters, etc. The property offers a long, private concrete driveway perfect for zooming, plus a gravel circular driveway to keep young legs moving, all fenced and walled for peace of mind. Of course, keep in mind that children must be supervised at all times, and this is the desert, so there are plants, rocks, and critters that can be hazardous if they are not careful. Also, there is a swimming pool (behind a latched gate) and an open reflecting pond with a stream and waterfall. Both of these can be dangerous and even deadly, and children must be accompanied at all times when outside.
Looking to explore the area? Desert Hot Springs is known as "Spa City" due to our world-renowned hot springs. You can access them at the pools at Miracle Springs Resort, which is less than a mile away, and quite affordable. The waters are pumped from hundreds of feet below, at about 140 degrees, and then cooled to fill their many pools and hot tubs. There is even a cold spring for a refreshing change! It is a quick 2-minute drive from the house, and you can come and go all day with one low rate of admission.
Our property is minutes from downtown Palm Springs (20 mins), Joshua Tree (30 mins), and iconic Coachella Valley attractions and music festivals (Coachella Festival is only 25 miles away), offering the perfect blend of relaxation and convenience.
Please Note:
► FIRE PIT is not operational.
► CHILDREN with parents are welcome BUT note that the house is NOT child proofed in any way.
► POOL: We have a swimming pool on the property which is fenced, but there are openings that could allow a child to enter if unattended, thus creating a possible risk of injury or death. Children must not enter unattended the pool area or go inside the pool fence. Please note that pool is not lighted and water slide is not available for use. POOL DEPTH is 3.5’ to 6’.
► POND: We have a 12x15-foot pond and waterfall that is a few feet deep and open (no fencing around it) bordered by rocks. This could be a potentially fatal hazard if a child is left unattended. Children must not enter the pond nor pick up or throw rocks into the pond.
► CLIMBING or PLAY STRUCTURE: There are walls, trees, big shelves, and other structures that could be seen as fun climbing obstacles to a child, but we strictly prohibit anyone from climbing any structures or running recklessly around the property. There are clear paths to each area which must be followed (ex. no taking shortcuts through landscaping).
By booking this home you agree to the rules and conditions denoted below. Should there be a conflict between the booking platform Terms and Conditions, and those listed herein, then the terms most favorable to us as the Host shall take effect.
RENTAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Definitions:
"My People". Shall include myself, my spouse, legal partner, guests, invitees, licensees, children, wards, heirs, assigns, personal representatives and estate, if any.
NO REFUNDS - Even the best or newest home has equipment that may occasionally malfunction and cannot be guaranteed operational 100% of the time. We promise to act immediately to remedy any issues, however, we do not relocate or issue refunds due to malfunctioning equipment or any other guest dissatisfaction or due to construction noise or any other items out of our control, unless the home is considered uninhabitable.
No one likes rules, least of all, us -- but we do have a few requirements so that the home is in as perfect a shape for each guest as possible.
- Please respect check-in and checkout times. Check-in: 4pm-10pm. Checkout: 10am
- Primary renter must be over the age of 25, have a fully verified profile and previous positive reviews inside the booking platform.
- The maximum occupancy for the property may not be exceeded at any time.
- Host may request a photocopy of the renter's ID for verification before check-in.
- All rentals with 28+ nights require a rental agreement signed naming and identifying all adult occupants (must present valid ID).
- This is a private property and the host reserves the right to access the property at any time to perform maintenance repairs necessary or requested by the renter.
- Maintenance/Vendors schedule: we are unable to offer refunds or credits for inconveniences due to scheduling and maintenance done during your stay. While we expect the schedule days and times to be
Saturdays at or around 11AM time for Pool/Hot Tub maintenance;
Thursday afternoon for Landscaping maintenance - that can change without notice to us. Guests should understand that such vendors must be able to access the home as well as service the property so we request that our maintenance teams are not turned away if they should overlap your stay.
- Absolutely no parties or loud music.
- NO animals or pets of any kind are permitted at the Property except (1) as specifically authorized in your reservation, or (2) bona fide service animals that we are required by law to allow. Emotional support animals are not permitted except as authorized pets. You agree that a prohibition on animals is not a guarantee that an animal has not been inside the Property or that the Property is free of animal or pet allergens. If pets were to be brought without our consent and knowledge, guests will have their reservation canceled immediately.
- DO NOT SMOKE anywhere inside. Please smoke away from other guests and be conscious of wind direction to avoid affecting others. You must pick up any butts and discard them in the trash once they are completely extinguished. DO NOT store cannabis and cannabis products inside, even in a container, as the strong smell permeates. Some guests are very sensitive to the smell, so there is an extra cleaning charge to clean all the base bedding, rugs and curtains if these rules are not followed. Thank you.
- CHARGING ELECTRIC OR HYBRID VEHICLES IS STRICTLY PROHIBITED. Absolutely no charging of any vehicles on the property, even for a short time. This is extremely important and will result in a fine if the rules are not followed. Thank you.
Late Checkout Policy
Guests must check out by the designated checkout time specified in the rental agreement. Late checkouts without prior approval will incur fees to cover costs including, but not limited to, waiting times for cleaning crews, canceled or delayed cleaning appointments, hardships on arriving guests (e.g., delayed check-ins or compensation), additional wear and tear on the property, and increased utility usage (e.g., electricity, water, or HVAC). The fees, based on the duration past the checkout time, are as follows:
• Less than 1 hour: 10% of the nightly rate or $100, whichever is greater.
• 1-2 hours: 15% of the nightly rate or $250, whichever is greater.
• More than 2 hours: Full nightly rate.
To avoid fees, guests are encouraged to coordinate with us in advance for late checkout requests. Approved late checkouts are subject to availability and may incur additional charges as agreed upon. These fees are designed to compensate for disruptions to property turnover and operational costs, and we will provide documentation (e.g., cleaning schedules, guest complaints) upon request to ensure transparency.

Any cleaning required beyond what is considered normal or reasonable, as determined by the property management, will result in an additional cleaning fee of $100 per hour. Examples of excessive cleaning needs include, but are not limited to, excessive trash, stains or spills requiring professional treatment, pet hair in non-pet-friendly units, or other conditions requiring significant labor.
