We love The Urban Cowboy Denver. It is beautiful and those tubs are extra special. You can soak for two hours and it doesn't get cold. The bed was super comfy, I got a great sleep. It also could have been the therapeutic bath soak we bought from UC for the bath. (regular bubble bath was included with stay!!) The Carriage House next door was perfect for food and drinks before the concert at The Fillmore. So fun! Best date ever!
A rip off! The windows were letting in cold air and were absolutely filthy. They sit either side of the bed so you were just breathing in dust! The carpet was also dirty. The shower didnât maintain the same heat/pressure and rhe lights would come on automatically in the night and blind you! Thereâs no elevator and no manned reception after 6. No tea or coffee making facilities in the room, no info on the local area, no amenities to speak of. (You could make a coffee in the lobby area that was it). The furniture is old and worn and thereâs no safe in the room. Thereâs nothing in the area and it felt a bit sketchy. A dirty room w no amenities for Circa $300 midweek in January is wild. The bar was absolutely dead, despite this one bartender had a horrible attitude. Crossed his arms and mumbled something at me when I checked were they open, needless to say I didnât stay!
coco at the front desk was so sweet and helpful and helped answer all our questions and gave us great local reccs. I wish the rooms had a microwave and a fridge. But we werenât there long so no worries! Loved it so so cute and precious!
This was one of the coolest places I've ever stayed.
I stayed one night in early September because I was seeing My Favorite Murder live at the Paramount Theatre and it was within walking distance. I stayed in the smallest room (one of the Pony Suites) and it was much bigger than I expected. The decor (in both the room and the mansion) was really unique and had a vintage feel to it. Staff was very friendly and helpful. I really loved my stay here and will definitely stay again if I am in the area
We live in CO and needed a room for a one night "staycation" in downtown Denver. This place was wonderful. The hotel is great and the staff are excellent. The room was spotless and the bed was really comfortable. Urban Cowboy Denver is a gem of a hotel if you need to stay downtown. The location is an easy walk to downtown activities, food and bars. It is a much longer walk to the LoDo/Union Station area, however, so if your planning to go there, you will probably want to get a lift from your preferred vendor. (We stayed one night in a King Suite and it was excellent.)
Tried this new place and I have to say I loved it! We come to Denver often and this will be our new spot. Check-in was super easy. The lobby area decor was elevated. The room was clean and loved the copper tub and full shower bath. Fireplace- comfy bed- and a hot bath was perfection for a night in Denver. We hope to come back again soon!
The tshirts in lobby were a great gift for a friend back home and high quality.
Staff was amazing and friendly!
Bartenders Marty and Matt made a special secret drink every night. Matt saw us arriving at the hotel at midnight and came outside and pointed us in the right direction. There were fun and unusual goodies in our room.
