The space was roomy and comfortable. The area was very nice, safe, and had lots of convenient businesses nearby. However, our check in was supposed to be at 4 pm. At 3:56 pm, the host texted to let me know it hadn’t been cleaned or accessed yet. I had to find something to do for an hour and a half with my kids while they prepared the space. Once inside, the sheets on one bed were still dirty and covered in hair/dirt. Fortunately, there’s a washer and dryer, so I was able to wash some sheets and towels.

Great place to stay with all the amenities we needed. The only issue would be the kids upstairs are easily heard. Not unpleasant but it's difficult to sleep in when the kids are up and stomping around like kids normally do.

There was truly every amenity you could need. Beds were so comfy. One caveat. Our schedule ran late evenings and we needed a quick nap late afternoon. The family that lives above have several small children and it was really loud-making naps tough. If you’re primarily in the unit to sleep-you’re in great shape. If you need any daytime sleep-it is challenging. The owner was fantastic and quick to respond.

Our stay was amazing. This was the perfect location for us. It was close to the event we were going to plus close to lots of shopping and restaurants. There was enough privacy, however when she said you can hear her kids running, she is not exaggerating. You can certainly hear them running around in the early morning hours. So if you are planning on sleeping in or bothered by it, this is not the place for you. We did ask her to have them keep it down one evening when we were turning in early and she did. Everything else was perfect.

The property was very clean and in a quiet neighborhood. Kitchen was well equipped and there was a washer/dryer present for laundry. My family and I had a great time in Denver and this was an excellent place to spend the evening resting.

This was such a beautiful place. The neighborhood was very clean and quiet. I absolutely lived staying there. The host was very accommodating to our needs and was very quick to respond to any questions or concerns we had. This was sooo nice. My family just loved it. If i am back up in Aurora again, I will try to book here.

A little bit of work & A little bit of play

The host was very attentive to our needs. He informed us of an event on the street and offered his private garage parking spot for our convenience. The patio provided a quiet place for work and coffee. The apt was as described, nicely decorated, clean and cozy. It was well equipped with the kitchen and bathroom amenities. We would return and would recommend to others without reservation.Thank you for such a lovely stay!

Lovely 2bdrm/2bath + office & full kitchen & laundry

Lovely vacation stay in a basement rental unit in a safe & quiet Aurora family neighborhood. Very nice, updated decor, very clean & all amenities were thoughtfully provided & well-stocked. Owner response: very good/excellent. As was previously stated in other reviews, the family has young children in their home above. They were always quiet in the evenings, which was a perfect match for our family’s travel habits. Although we could hear family activity during the daytime, it wasn’t really any bother because we knew ahead of time & then we were out & about being tourists & attending traveling tournaments in Aurora most of the time. Nice little outdoor patio area. Air conditioning was awesome during the heat wave & mountain wildfires going on during our recent 5-night stay. Again, all amenities we could think of were provided. Our family is big on recycling, but that was the only thing they didn’t have (i.e., no recycling bin available on-site). We brought our recyclables over to another friend’s VRBO unit in town at the end of our stay. We’d DEFINITELY stay here again & would recommend this VRBO unit to others. To our host(s): thank you for your hospitality!

Basement Apartment Review

My husband, sister and brother in law stayed here while we were in town for my brother’s wedding. The description does mention that the family above the property has kids and can be loud. Before booking this property I would just recommend being super mindful of that. The walls are pretty thin and the kids are up super early. Because we were having a lot of late nights and exhausting days, being woken up at 6 or 7am by kids wasn’t super ideal. My husband also had to work from the property for a few days, so the noise wasn’t best for that either. Also be mindful that the listing indicates that it has shampoo available. I made the mistake of assuming that also included conditioner and body wash (but it did not so I had to go out and buy some). Some other things were that (1) we had 4 people and only had 3 coffee mugs and 3 towels and (2) the hair dryer didn’t work. Other than that, the location was perfect for us, it was comfortable, and check in was super easy. I think the space is perfect if you’re literally just using it to sleep and you are an early riser.

Thoughtful touches everywhere

This was a wonderful place to stay - everything we could possibly need was provided, clearly the owners spent a lot of time preparing the apartment to be perfect for guests. After arriving late at night, our host helped us get to the right place so that we could get to resting asap. We would love to stay here again next time we visit Denver!
