Spacious 4-bedroom Cape Cod retreat just five minutes from Mayflower Beach, with a private hot tub, fully fenced backyard, outdoor kitchen, and a speakeasy-style game room with custom bar and pool table. Sleeps large groups in comfort, welcomes families and pets, and offers an optional private chef and in-home dining experience. Dining for 10, a 65" HDTV with streaming, and a dedicated workspace make it as easy to gather as it is to unwind.

We’re committed to making your stay as smooth and enjoyable as possible. While we respect your privacy, we’re always available if you need recommendations, have questions about the home, or require assistance during your stay. Located in the heart of Dennis, this home offers the perfect Cape Cod experience. Just minutes from Mayflower Beach, guests can enjoy soft white sand, tidal pools, and breathtaking sunsets. Dennis boasts 16 public beaches free to enjoy, giving you endless shoreline options. The area also offers easy access to the Cape Cod Rail Trail, a scenic biking and walking path, plus nearby kayaking, paddleboarding, restaurants, and local shops. The neighborhood is quiet and family-friendly, yet close to everything Cape Cod has to offer.

Guests enjoy full access to the house. The garage is not accessible. Please note there is a Ring doorbell camera at the front door, facing the front yard.

Welcome to your Cape Cod coastal retreat — a beautifully updated 4-bedroom, 3-bathroom home just five minutes from the iconic Mayflower Beach and the bayside's calm, shallow waters. It's built for togetherness: family reunions, group getaways, and celebrations all have room to spread out here.

Inside, the bright, open living room centers on a cozy gas fireplace and a 65" HDTV with streaming — the natural spot to regroup after a beach day. A dedicated workspace makes it easy to mix a little work with vacation, and a whole-home sound system sets the mood throughout. The fully stocked kitchen flows into a dining area seating 10, and the modern bathrooms feature spa-style rain-head showers.

Downstairs, the finished basement is the home's showpiece: a speakeasy-style bar with a pool table, lounge seating, and board games — an easy favorite for evening gatherings and game nights. (Note the charmingly low basement ceiling.)

Step outside into a private, fully fenced backyard oasis — ideal for pets and little ones to roam safely. Soak in the hot tub under the stars, grill a feast in the fully equipped outdoor kitchen, gather around the gas fire pit, or sway in the hammock in the landscaped yard. Traveling with young children? The home is stocked with a high chair and a Pack 'n Play travel crib, plus an in-unit washer and dryer for longer stays.

Very nice stay! Kitchen was well equipped and lots of entertainment! Too cold/windy to enjoy backyard space during our stay but wonderfully set up! Property was very clean and property manager was quick to answer any need!

Great vacation

We had so much fun at the Compass House. Our 4 adult kids all came and we spend many hours grilling, enjoying the hot tub and the fire pit. Oh and the mattresses were really comfy. Highly recommend!

Christmas on the Cape

This house was perfect for 3 couples and a very cute pup.Clean, well appointed and so cozy for Christmas.Although we didn't make good use of the backyard, it was chilly on Cape, the space was ideal for the dog and so magical with the cafe lights.

Fishing trip

We had a group of 8 adult friends take a fishing trip to dennis Ma. We stayed at 30 compass lane. The house was very nice and clean. There was also plenty of room for our party. We will be back.

In a word - excellent. Tons of room for 7 of us, can easily sleep/hold more. Layout is extremely functional yet private. Super clean. Well stocked. Just an awesome property. We’ll absolutely be back!

Easter weekend

We had so much fun here! Perfect house for our needs. Celebrated two birthdays. Hot tub was selling factor for me! We had bad weather but there was plenty of space to play board games, shuffle board etc.

The perfect get away

Great location, just minutes from beautiful beaches / Scargo Tower / Dennis Market. The home is cozy & clean, fireplace is perfect for chilly nights. The speakeasy is a fun spot for cocktails & a game of pool / movie night. Outside seating & kitchen with hot tub is awesome. Beautiful fenced in yard is perfect for pups to play. Compass House 2024

We had a beautiful week stay at the Compass house! The house was perfect for our families with plenty of room for all of us to enjoy a peaceful Cape Cod vacation. We spent most of our time on the back deck which was equipped with comfortable patio furniture, a large table for family dinners, an immaculate maintained hot tub, outdoor kitchen, and more! We had everything we could have needed for our week long stay and are so grateful to be heading home with beautiful memories from the week. We look forward to returning next time we are on the Cape!

The perfect home

We stayed in early July and the house and amenities were top notch. We didn’t even use the house to its full potential (hot tub and speakeasy) we were so pleased. Jim is a very responsible owner and was quick to help up with a few minor needs. Having young kids, a home with a fenced in yard and lots of towels and soap in each bathroom would make my packing less for the next time around. Everything was clean and new and exactly what we were looking for in a rental. We hope to return next year!

Great house for our week on the Cape! The house was updated and very nice inside and our. Plenty of space to spread out and unwind. We had our family of 6 plus a couple friends and grandmothers and for fine. Basement was very cool and the pool table and shuffleboard table got a lot of use. Backyard deck was awesome and we spent many nights grilling and relaxing by the fire pit or in the hot tub watching Red Sox games on the outdoor TV. Brought our dog and the house was perfect for her with a fenced backyard. Location was great - minutes from Mayflower Beach and central to the Cape so we could explore from Hyannis to P-Town. Very responsive property manager that responded to questions very quickly. Would highly recommend!

Perfect for families

This property was fantastic for our Cape Cod vacation! TVs are everywhere including outside. Table shuffleboard, pool table and hot tub provided endless additional opportunities for fun at home. The patio has very comfortable furniture for enjoying the yard. We had most lunches out and were able to prepare wonderful dinners in the nicely appointed kitchen and on the outside grill. The dining table accommodates 10 without trouble. Beds were comfortable. The upstairs bedrooms got a bit warm at night. The location allowed us to visit many communities and beaches going both east and west. We had bicycles for our entire group and were very happy that we could get to the Cape Cod rail trail almost entirely on dedicated bike paths. Would highly recommend this property and the host/management company. Everything was really great!

Girls Weekend Away

This was a perfect location for our group of seven to relax and be outside. It's a lovely neighborhood with nearby walking trails and is just a short drive to Mayflower Beach. The kitchen is well-equipped and open with a large counter /seats so it was easy to congregate during meal preps. The deck is spacious with great seating - we grilled and watched football on the outside TV screen and took advantage of the nice weather. Big dining tables inside and out with plenty of room. Bedrooms were comfortable and bathrooms updated and very clean. James was very quick to respond to a question I had about check-in. Great experience all-around!

Overall very good with one glitck

Family member found dirty linens on their bed. Clearly the cleaner never checked that the bed was stripped when previous guest checked out. Our guests ended up sleeping on top of the bed. Owner offered to rectify by coming in to change linens. We opted to do ourselves as a family member was uncomfortable having unknown person coming into home. More bath towels are recommended also.

Family get away

What a great spot! Close to everything. House had everything you needed and Jim was very responsive. The house had plenty of room for all and the backyard was perfect! Mayflower beach is close by (8 minute) car ride and was well worth the drive. The beach was amazing!

Great house; great stay!

Booked this house to sneak in a week away before school starts. Such a great find - purpose built for relaxing, socializing and spending as much time outdoors as in. Great back deck with comfy seating, dining space, fire pit, hot tub and outdoor kitchen. Comfy beds throughout. State of the art appliances , ice maker, etc. Lots of great details. Close to town, beaches and shops. Would definitely stay again. Thanks for a great experience!
