Gaby's on the River - Perfect Vacation Home Short Walk to Chattahoochee River

This well appointed vacation rental home is perfect for a family visit to the North Georgia Mountains and just a short walk to the Chattahoochee River. Bring your fly fishing gear, inner tubes or kayaks for life on the river! Nestled on 9 quiet acres, Gaby's is a great spot to launch the kayaks or cast a line.

The front door is located up the steps on the river side of the home. On this front deck you will find an outdoor sofa with a gas firepit and a bench swing at the far end. Upon entering the property you are in the open space of the living area, a four-chair sitting area, the dining area with 8 chairs and the full kitchen. The living room features a new gas-log fireplace, a television and a built-in bookcase filled with reading options. Streaming satellite tv is available on both the upstairs and downstairs televisions, providing live news and your favorite sports channels. The kitchen is a chef's dream, with cabinets and counter space every where you turn! Not only are there full size appliances, including a refrigerator, dishwasher and microwave, but the highlight is a gas stove and oven. In the pantry you will find a toaster oven, a lobster pot, a toaster, an air fryer, a crock pot and a blender. The Keurig coffee maker can make a 12-cup pot of coffee or a cup at a time with K-cups.

Outside the kitchen and dining area is the terraced backyard, rocking chairs, a free-standing outdoor firepit with wrought iron chairs and a gas grill. Gather round the outdoor firepit on the cooler nights with stories to share and marshmallows to toast!

On the main level there are three bedrooms. The master king suite has an ensuite bathroom with slate floors. It features a garden tub, walk-in shower and two vanity sinks separated by a toiletry cabinet. Across the living room are the two queen bedrooms with a Jack-and-Jill bathroom.

Downstairs is a play room, coffee bar, laundry room and another king bedroom. Gather around the game table for board games, or try your hand at the oversized hanging Tic-Tac-Toe or the Connect 4 Strategy game. A billiard table awaits those pool sharks in the group! The coffee bar is set up with a one-cup Keurig coffee maker. The king bedroom is cozy and comfortable with its own bathroom.

Open the French doors that lead to the rocking chair patio with chaise lounges. Another perfect spot to rest, relax and unwind at Gaby's on the River.

• Parking: Space is available for 4 vehicles. The garage is locked and not available to guests.
• Access: The road is dirt and gravel to the property.
• Pets: Gaby's on the River is Not pet-friendly. No pets allowed.
• Smoking: There is NO smoking or vaping inside the property. There will be a $400 fine if you do so.
• Location: This property is in Demorest, GA and is 16 miles from downtown Helen.
• Security: There are outdoor cameras at both the front and back doors and the garage.
