Welcome to The Lakeside Snug — a cozy, character-filled cottage right on the water with its own private dock. Whether you're here for a quiet weekend or settling in for a longer stay, this is the kind of place where the to-do list disappears and the slower pace takes over.

The Vibe:
The Snug is exactly what its name promises: warm, charming, and packed with character. Original wood floors, thoughtful vintage details, and a laid-back atmosphere that strikes the perfect balance between old soul and modern comfort. Whether you're in flip-flops or wool socks, the Snug just works.

Your Time at the Lake:
Coffee on the dock at sunrise. Lazy lake days. Bonfires under the stars. Quiet mornings and easy evenings. Every season has its magic here.

The Space:
A 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom cottage that sleeps up to 8 — surprisingly spacious for its cozy footprint, with thoughtful sleeping arrangements throughout:

Upstairs bedroom — two queen beds (sleeps 4)
Four-season sun porch — twin trundle with two twins (sleeps 2)
Living room — pull-out sofa bed (sleeps 2)

A great fit for families, couples traveling together, multi-generational trips, or a small group of friends sharing a lake weekend.

The Location:
Tucked into a quiet, picturesque corner of southwest Michigan — almost exactly halfway between Chicago and Detroit, making the Snug an easy escape from either city (or anywhere in between).
A few of our favorite local stops: Daily Grind in Delton (the homemade chicken salad is really tasty), Waldorf Brewpub in Hastings (don't miss Wing Wednesday), and the Gilmore Car Museum in Hickory Corners — well worth a half-day, even if you're not a "car person."
