If you love a country road and the cool shade of the forest, come and enjoy this mountain dream cabin--nestled in the trees on a wooded acre of land with soft mountain views in a scenic rural area 15 minutes from Boone/20 minutes to Blowing Rock,  with access to the incomparable Blue Ridge Parkway and Mountain to Sea Trail a short drive away.  The dining and shopping downtown Boone is within a reasonable driving distance.  Visit the local breweries and wineries, take a day trip to beautiful Valle Crucis, have some local food at the popular Blue Ridge Diner (just minutes away), or enjoy a sunset from one of the many Blue Ridge Parkway overlooks.



This immaculately maintained log cabin features a desirable open floor plan, three bedrooms, and two full baths, plus an open loft area.  The main floor has a king bedroom with an adjoining hall bath while the upstairs features a queen bedroom, a loft with a futon, and a third bedroom with sturdy bunk beds, plus a second bath!  The cabin sleeps six with the futon for overflow.  There are 2 TVs--a flat screen in the great room and one in the loft.   TV is satellite.

During cooler weather, enjoy the glowing warmth of the gas log fireplace in the living room.  The cabin is air-conditioned for your year-round enjoyment as well.



There is  satellite TV, high-speed internet, and Wifi



All towels and linens are furnished and the kitchen is well equipped for your stay-at-home evenings and home-cooked meals, while all the restaurants of Boone and Blowing Rock are always a short drive away, if you prefer not to cook.

Check-out: 10:00 AM

Late Check-out or Early Check-in at 1:00 PM:  Must be requested and approved 48 hours in advance. A taxable fee for approved Late Check-out and Early Check-in will be applied.

Guest Access:

Guest has access to the entire house and property.

Getting Around:

***During the winter season, 4WD vehicles are required for this cabin from Thanksgiving-March 31st. If you are within these dates please make sure all guests have 4WD vehicles or are able to obtain a 4WD vehicle prior to the stay.
