Le grand hall d'entrée mÚne à une magnifique salle à manger pouvant accueillir confortablement jusqu'à 12 personnes.

La cuisine d'à cÎté qui est une immense piÚce avec un frigo smeg et un lave-vaisselle, un aga et une grande table de cuisine de ferme. Il y a aussi une deuxiÚme cuisine à cÎté avec un double four, une cuisiniÚre à gaz, un évier et un réfrigérateur / congélateur menant au WC en bas.

L'espace de vie en bas a un joli poĂȘle Ă  bois et des portes pliantes menant Ă  la piscine du patio. Il y a une fabuleuse salle de jeux avec table de billard, grand tĂ©lĂ©viseur intelligent Ă  Ă©cran plat et de nombreux jouets pour les enfants.

Au premier étage, il y a 4 chambres doubles (3 ensuite), 1 chambre double avec une salle de bains familiale de bonne taille avec une baignoire et une grande douche puissante. La suite double située au rez-de-chaussée comprend une salle de bains privative avec douche et une baignoire avec dressing, idéale pour un lit de voyage.

Avec son grand terrain, sa piscine isolée, son incroyable espace de vie spacieux et son décor impeccable, cette maison serait un endroit idéal pour passer des vacances en famille, entre amis et ne pas oublier les chiens! Les propriétaires ont pensé à tout pour que votre séjour soit le plus confortable possible, avec des lits pliants, des chaises hautes et de nombreux jouets pour que le petit peuple soit toujours heureux!

La plage de Kingsdown est Ă  seulement quelques minutes Ă  pied, oĂč vous avez une plage magnifique, idĂ©ale pour la mise en commun des rochers lorsque la marĂ©e est basse. Il y a deux trĂšs bons pubs Ă  proximitĂ© sur la plage qui sont super pour les enfants et les chiens. Le village lui-mĂȘme est Ă  quelques minutes en voiture ou Ă  pied et il compte quelques magasins et un excellent boucher.

La maison est juste en face de Kingsdown et du club de golf Walmer, donc idéale pour les golfeurs enthousiastes.

Deal est soit un excellent trajet Ă  vĂ©lo le long du joli sentier cĂŽtier, soit un court trajet en voiture oĂč vous trouverez de nombreux grands magasins et restaurants.
Lors de votre séjour dans cette maison de vacances, vous ne serez qu'à quelques minutes de marche de Club de golf Walmer and Kingsdown. Vous pourrez profiter de services et équipements comme une laverie. Une piscine privée et une cuisine sont disponibles dans cette maison de vacances.

The Perfect Big House

The house is absolutely magnificent, the perfect house, garden and setting for a large group/family. Can't fault it, the house is a great size, there were12 adults and a dog in our group and we had plenty of space. Everything was amazing, we had the best time. Walkable to some amazing pubs and the beach. Already booked to go back again next year.

Lovely relaxing stay and perfect location

We had a really great time at Bowden Lodge. Well-equipped kitchen and perfect location, with lots of places to chill inside and outside the house. Lovely pool area, wish we'd been there in summer! The double beds are rather small, if you're sharing one, but otherwise the furnishings were comfortable and pretty and the house was lovely and clean! Would recommend as a great place to get away with a big group of friends.

Wonderful family weekend

Large, spacious and comfortable. Downstairs bedroom and bathroom big bonus for elderly mother with limited mobility. Well equipped kitchens with everything you need.We had 2 small dogs who loved the garden and the walks around the local area. Location is great. Everyone had a wonderful time. Would definitely recommend and go back

Birthday Stay

We stayed at Bowden Lodge for my birthday celebration and it was just perfect. There were 9 adults, 1 child and 3 dogs and it never felt like we were getting on top of each other as the house was so big. There is everything you need for a short stay and the separate dining room was a definite plus. The gardens were lovely and secure and the swimming pool a huge hit with everyone especially as the water was very warm. We spent some time at the beach which is 10 mins away and also some time in Deal which is lovely. Would definitely book this house again

An amazing house in a beautiful location!

We have stayed at Bowden Lodge 5 times over recent years and every time we have been delighted with our stay. The house is beautifully maintained, well equipped and can easily accommodated a large family group. The playroom and the heated pool are a particular hit with the kids. The large outdoor space is also a huge plus. Thank you for another lovely stay, we'll be back!

What a fabulous place - loads of space, tastefully furnished and decorated The swimming pool was an absolute winner with the children (some of the adults too) Everyone had a great time - would definitely recommend Bowden Lodge - can’t fault it in any way A brilliant time was had by all!

Lovely weekend at Bowden Lodge

We have just had a lovely family weekend stay at Bowden Lodge. The house is very spacious, well furnished and clean and it accommodated our 12 family members plus small dog very comfortably. The children loved the swimming pool - which was heated - as well as playing ball games in the large garden. All in all an ideal house for all ages and the very sunny weather made it even more special for us! Thank you,

The house is getting a bit tired.

We had a very nice few days, and were very comfortable, this is the second time that we stayed here. We noticed this time how tired the house is looking, the pool table needs a recover, two of the showers didn’t work, the heating in the games room didn’t work, we couldn’t use one of the toilets. When I contacted the maintenance lady, she was very good, she helped me get one of the showers working and called a plumber out to sort the heating. I was impressed with her help, but there was just two meany things wrong in the first place.

Wonderful Weekend

We had a wonderful time at Bowden Lodge. We were a mixed aged (8 to 75 years) family group away for a weekend to celebrate our Golden Wedding. The children all loved the pool, as did the adults, the games room was very popular and we had some wonderful games of croquet in the grounds. The house is very well equipped, very spacious and nicely furnished. We had lovely weather (to be expected in early June) and so were able to eat out both days which was lovely. We put the BBQ provided to good use. All in all it was a great weekend.

A fantastic property

We had a brilliant weekend at Bowden Lodge. The customer service both before and during the stay was excellent (quick responses, useful local tips) and the property itself was perfect for our group. It was immaculate and kitchen was well-stocked with crockery etc. We loved the dining room and sitting room in particular. We were a group of adults but we can imagine it being perfect for a number of families too (2 sitting rooms, a separate dining room, main kitchen and smaller one off it). The garden is stunning and it felt very peaceful. The location was brilliant - 10 minute drive to Deal or (as our group did) a walk along the beautiful beach. I would highly recommend.

Hidden gem

Bowden Lodge is a great property for a group booking. It was rather tricky to find with the instructions provided, it might be a good idea to provide additionally what3words location finder. The beds were comfortable and the living space is exceptional. The aga was not on / working but there is a second kitchen that you can cook in, it's just less social cooking. The property could also benefit from more shoe space / coat rails. A boot room would be ideal. Was great to have a games room and the kids could be desperate from the adults. We enjoyed games time all together though,a lot of fun. Finally the 2 of the showers had errors on the electric shower function. Instructions on how to use and fix the showers would be beneficial. Overall a super lovely stay and we worked around any faults mentioned above. It didn't prevent us having fun!

Can't fault Bowden Lodge

Our party of 8 adults and 3 children spent the weekend at Bowden Lodge and cannot find fault with our stay. The building is beautiful, the layout is spacious and bright for big groups. Keepers Cottage went above and beyond to ensure we enjoyed our stay. The place was immaculate, very clean and tidy. It felt more like a home than a holiday rental, everything was well maintained and cared for. The location is great, very peaceful and tucked out of the way but a short walk to the beach and pubs which sell food. My only comments would be that the property is very difficult to locate. It would really help to have some signposts from the road. Also, it would be great to have shower gel provided. Everything else was provided but we forgot to bring any and it was the one thing missing!

80th Birthday Celebration with my family

We spent a long weekend at Bowden Lodge to celebrate my birthday and there was plenty of space for the whole family. The kitchen was well equipped, bathrooms, furnishings and decor were all very stylish and yet homely. The games room with the pool table was a great asset and well used by my grown up grandchildren but it also had plenty there for young children. The garden is large and we found a great space for playing cricket and football or just sitting on the terrace having a cup of coffee. We were extremely lucky as even though it was early April the sun shone the whole time, unfortunately too early for the swimming pool. We lit the log burner in the evenings and played charades and other games and even managed one evening to have a takeaway delivered. The beach is a very short walk away, we didn’t venture any further but as Kent residents we know of all the great places to visit in the area. We were all sad to leave but agreed the best weekend ever in a beautiful house.

Bowden Lodge is a great place for a family seaside holiday

Bowden Lodge was just a brilliant place to stay with our family. The house is stunning and seems to go on and in when you first enter it with everything we needed to enjoy our stay. The pool (table) and the (swimming) pool ‍♀ being to of the hits with both the kids and the adults. The accommodation was clean and tidy and well maintained with bedding, towels (both shower and pool/beach) and all cooking items there. If you are looking for a UK seaside (less then 10 min walk to beach) holiday this house is a great choice. Even on a bad weather day there is plenty to do and entertain everyone in the house and on better days the pool and grounds make a perfect holiday location without the need to have to leave the grounds. Having said that the beach (stoney!) Is less then 10 minute walk with several pubs in Highcliffe in a similar distance. You can also access Deal with a 10 minute car ride and Dover is also close if you need more to do! One word of caution, and this may well be just our sat-nav, it is advisable to not use the postcode and be aware the drive is off Queensdown Road. This did not however distract from a truly lovely week for us all.

Lovely Stay at Bowden Lodge

The accommodation was wonderful - lots of space for the 12 of us which is ideal. Clean and everything you would need whilst staying there. Keepers Cottages customer service was fantastic, always keeping in touch and there if we needed them. I couldn't fault anything about the stay, which is exactly what you want when you book for a long awaited or family weekend away. It was home from home and wonderful.

An excellent place for a large group holiday

We were 3 generations and had the good fortune to have lovely weather for our stay. The house is spacious, clean and well equipped on the whole and the heated pool was a big hit with us all. Walmer and Deal are very close and Dover with all it’s history is nearby too. The Grand Shaft was an interesting place to visit there. We enjoyed many walks from the property and also drove to Margate and walked back to Joss Bay where we swam in the sea. Thanks!

Family celebration

This is our third time back to stay at this beautiful house. Our two families with 4 children had space to run, play, swim, drink, laugh and create some very special and funny memories. This house and the team at cottages never fail to deliver. The house is stunning and well equipped with everything you need and more, including piles of lovely towels for the pool which if you have the weather feels like you are in the Med! We are already planning our next holiday, thank you Keepers cottages for another amazing holiday, just wish I could be beamed back there!

Lovely House

A fab house for a large group/families, it’s modern and clean and the decoration is lovely. The outside space is great and we loved having the pool to use! We have been holidaying in Kingsdown for years and we’d definitely go back to this house again. They have thought of all the details for big groups - 2 dishwashers, plenty of fridge/freezer space, lots of bathrooms & a games room!

Amazing break away

Absolutely lovely location and home. Really spacious and a short walk to the beach. The pool was an outstanding addition as we're the little touches like Nest heating systems and the games room. We really had a fabulous time (10 mixed gender adults) and would definitely return again.

Family holiday..

Bowden Lodge is situated in a very nice, quiet location close to the beach and a more or less level walk all the way to Deal. We were a large party with a mix of adults, children, babies and a dog and the substantial accommodation meant that everyone had their own space to relax. The excellent kitchens made catering easy. All in all, an excellent place to stay.

Great Place

Lovely place to stay for all ages. It is extremely comfortable and well equipped, in a beautiful, quiet setting with a lovely garden and swimming pool. We had one minor problem with hot water not being available in the downstairs bedroom but at the request of the agent at Keepers Cottages, plumber came with 30 minutes and sorted it out.
