This relaxing, clean, 2 bedroom cottage is the perfect place to unwind while away from home. It is a new home in a populated rural area that is furnished throughout, including a fully equipped kitchen. The kitchen contains basic appliances, a coffee bar and more. A grill is in the back for those who enjoy a little outdoor cooking. A wonderful place for a relaxing getaway, or a homey place to unwind when working away from home. Although it is in a cozy rural area, it is in close proximity to town. No pets, parties or smoking!

“AWESOME COTTAGE “

Family spent an extended weekend at the most clean, comfortable & updated property while in town for a wedding. The owner has gone above & beyond to provide a lot of extras! Everything is labeled & instructions provided. Communication with Host was great! Not only would I stay here again, I would like to own this property!! To all VRBO rentals/owners

This property is so cute!! Everything about our stay was convenient, clean and accommodating. The house is decorated adorably and the owners go out of their way to make you feel welcome and cozy. We will definitely be back anytime we come to visit our Cooley Family.

We had a perfectly lovely stay at Nana's cottage! We especially loved how peaceful and quiet the property was. Everything was clean and in excellent condition, very comfy beds and many little extra touches. Close to town yet very restful. I would definitely recommend Nana's Cottage if you're staying in the DeRidder area.

Peaceful, clean and had every convenience

My husband and I stayed here for his class reunion and we loved this little house. The kitchen and bathrooms are fantastic and it was nice to sit outside and have a glass of wine in the afternoon. A truly wonderful place and would not hesitate to stay here again.

Beautiful, Peaceful Home

We so enjoyed our stay. The home was clean and beautiful. We loved the house itself, but also the hominess of the decor. The peaceful, country location and large yards made the stay pleasant. Absolutely love this place. It is in a very peaceful and quiet neighborhood. The house was clean and tidy everything and well decorated. Stepping in to the house gave a sense of being home. We had three adults and two children and had plenty of room. Looking forward to coming back and when we need to get away from it all.

Amazing little property

This little house and owner are wonderful! The house was extremely clean; I have always disinfected all properties before my family unloads, but I felt like I did not have to for this property! The furnitue and beds are very comfortable. The jetted tub was neat for my young son. The master shower is beautiful. Everything in the house is modern and updated. There is wifi, which is fairly fast, but there is no television. This was alright with us as we spent family time playing board games that were provided in the closet. Other things that were available in the house for our use: a small fan, pack-n-play and small waterproof mattress for a baby, extra comforters and sheets, plenty of extra toilet paper and paper towels, paper plates. Owner provided lots of extras: watermelon bubble bath, small snacks like popcorn and crackers, a few juices and waters in fridge, coffee and a few other beverages for Keurig, water purification pitcher filled in fridge. There were tiny packs of toothbrushes/toothpaste, q tips, and make up wipes incase we forgot them. The kitchen was well equipped with anything you would need to cook a meal as well as silverware and dishware. There is also a grill, utensils, and charcoal provided! The house sits on about 1 acre of cleared land but is in the country and surrounded by woods in back and trees on both sides. Owner has labeled all switches in the house and some cabinets with contents, which was very helpful for us. Overall, I would absolutely stay here again. I wish all VRBO rentals and owners were like this one!

Cozy Cottage

This was our 2nd time using Vrbo to find a place to stay. In the area of DeRidder, LA there are not many hotels or places to stay. Nana's Cottage fit the bill! Clean, cozy, and quiet (home away from home), and the bathroom options are compared to hotel qualities! The Classen's thought of everything from towels, blankets, snacks, electronic chargers, and kitchen cookware, etc. The hosts were always in communication if we needed anything! Even though there was not a TV, we had WIFI for our own devices to use. One of the beds was a little too high off the floor but once you jump in, it was comfy and we fell asleep fast! We would definitely rent Nana's Cottage if we visit family in that area again!
