Secluded on 50 acres in the Firefly forest & less than 1 hour to the Gulf of Mexico beaches, this new cabin comes with 2 bedrooms, a full bathroom and kitchen, The covered porch is great for grilling, relaxing and enjoying wildlife. There is a 4 acre, fresh water lake that is stocked and ready for fun/fishing. Access to lush walking trails, a private fire pit, deep woods trails and a beautiful, modern cabin. No off-road vehicles or discharging of firearms on the property is strictly enforced.
The space
We would like for this cabin to take you back in time…
To a more simple, laid-back time when you were a kid and the most important thing you had to do was grab a mason jar and go collecting fire flies to use as a night light!

Instead of listening to your downloaded digital music… peruse the record collection that can be played on our old-fashioned style record player. Enjoy Johnny Cash and Willie Nelson and other musicians from another era!

Enjoy this respite from your every day life for a few days before you have to get back to reality!

We have it stocked with fish and it’s ready for you to enjoy!
There is a beautiful swing where you can relax and enjoy the sunrise or the sunset.
Other things to note
Our cabin is in a remote area and it is ideal for people wanting to “get away and un-plug” from the hi-tech pressures of life. We are proud to say we do not offer wifi, or a tv…
But, we also want you to know that not all cell phone providers have good coverage here at the cabin.
Service can be spotty.
Please be aware of that before booking.
Make sure you print out or write down all of the information that you might need to find our property and all the check- in details. You might not be able to rely on your cell phone to access the internet.
