L'eau apaisante Ă  la fois sur l'avant et l'arriĂšre de la maison! Stand dans votre salon et regarder la plage Ă  la fois par l'vitres avant et arriĂšre! Cet endroit est si unique --- oĂč d'autre trouvez-vous un vĂ©ritable Ăźlot de plage comme ça? Chaque fois que nous sortons de la maison, nous revenons complĂštement rechargĂ©e et heureux.

Comme un pas en arriÚre dans le temps! Dauphin Island est encore largement épargnée par les gratte-ciel, condos et grands développements.

Notre maison est parfaite pour tout simplement se dĂ©tendre sur l'eau, marchant le long de la plage, en regardant les Ă©toiles sur le pont! Nous sommes sur le cĂŽtĂ© nord de la plage de sable, idĂ©ale pour les petits enfants et les chiens, mais pas de lĂ  Ă  partir du cĂŽtĂ© du golfe avec les disjoncteurs. La plage du Golfe est d'environ 100 pieds de l'autre cĂŽtĂ© de l'Ăźle (l'Ăźle est assez Ă©troit lĂ ) et il n'y a pas de maisons sur la plage du Golfe oĂč nous sommes, ce est comme avoir le meilleur des deux mondes --- votre maison en bord de mer surplombant la baie et votre plage privĂ©e sur le Golfe!

Tout inclus --- cuisine complÚte, literie, télévision, machine à laver / sÚche-linge, télévision par cùble et accÚs internet. Animaux sont les bienvenus !!

House is located on Mississippi Sound; super calm and shallow waters. Perfect for our kiddo and dogs. House is well maintained and comfortable. Short walk to gulf side beaches, can see them clearly from kitchen window. Dog friendly to the max. Was in for Thanksgiving week so limited options on restaurants and activities but sooo quiet and peaceful! Trips into Theodore for supplies/pharmacy not bad at all.

Property was exactly what we needed for 4 adults. It was close to water on both sides. The picture on the front page was not what we had-there is no longer a deck or beach chairs, which would have been nice, though we didn't really need them as we brought our own chairs.Property was in ok shape.

This place is amazing. Kitchen had everything we needed, the bay access is so great! We fished every evening and enjoyed GORGEOUS sunsets, nice walks through the neighborhood, Gulf access across the street. The home is very well appointed, clean and tasteful. The host, Deborah, was timely, responsive, and available when we had questions. Overall, this place was perfect for my husband and our fur babies. Will definitely be back again! Thank you for a great time!

Great quiet area with private beach. Sweet bungalow with every thing a person could want/need. A quick walk takes you to the big beach for some boogie boarding. Loved our stay. Deborah the manager was great. Asked her before we left if the cottage had a blender. We get there & she had a Brand new blender waiting for us.

Property manager very responsive. House was as described with bay beach at back yard. Enjoyed looking for shells during low tide. Recommend bug spray for evening walk protection and don't forget scrubby pads for cleaning dishes after cooking. Visit welcome center with museum and library the hostess there were very pleasant and accommodating. The aquarium research center priced reasonably and educational. Highly recommend the animal wildlife boat excursion, reasonable priced three hour tour with restroom onboard, and seeing variation of sea creatures brought in with net highly educational and interesting for young and old.

Great Stay

Location is great, close by the beach, and property manager had excellent communication. Not as many items within the house for children under 2 (high chairs, cribs, etc) but they told us ahead of time so we had everything we needed for the stay.The back deck is great for outdoor meals and kids have room to roam and play. Our kids loved the bench swing! We’d stay here again.

The Views and the Decks for the Dog

My wife and I stayed at Sea Dreams this past week. The overall experience was great. Mrs. Smith was an excellent host. She almost "over communicated " lol. We had some very small issues that were resolved quickly and or explained. For example the garbage disposal was not working...not a big deal for my wife and I. I would highly recommended this place, especially if you have a dog. The decks are great for hanging out and having a place for your dog to just enjoy the time outside. Our dog was kept on a long leash most of the time, due to the fact that we saw foxes in yard next door. We did not need a "hot" pursuit on the island...as ours would have ran for days to interact with wildlife. Finally, the private beach is great. Quiet and peaceful with a great swimming area. Amazing beach house

This is a beautiful beachfront property with lots of extra amenities. The kitchen was very well stocked, plenty of sand toys, boogie boards, chairs and much more. The property manager is an amazing lady that was extremely helpful was in contact with us shortly after booking all the way up until after we left to answer any questions we had. They also own the house next door, we look forward to booking both next yr for our family and extended family vacation.

Dog Friendly Bay Side Home

Three bedrooms was perfect for 2 adults, 3 kiddos, and a dog. Bay was always calm for swimming and never crowded. The gulf wasn't too far of a walk. Bring bug spray or pants and loose long sleeves for the walk out to the water due to mosquitoes, though the skeeters are worse some days over others. House was in good shape, loved the couch covers so pup could sit with us without worry. Back deck was perfect to watch the bay and eat outside. Hoses under the house and on the deck helped reduce the sand we brought in! Overall, would stay again unless we try to stay on the Gulf side next time.

Comfy place to relax

Was a comfortable place to relax with our family. Like the description says, definitely pet friendly and house was clean and made us feel at home. Would suggest bringing some dvds if you want to watch movies, we had issues with the wifi every evening around 8pm it would go out and was spotty during the day. Only part of the descriptions that was off, or misunderstood on my part, was the deck. The photos makes it look like wr had one of the decks on the water, but it was a small deck (approx 8,10’) that was sitting in the sand. Overall, was a nice house and we really enjoyed the quiet setting and the privacy of the beach. The weather was sketchy and the public beach was a red flag while, our side was calm and enjoyable.

Great get Away

Peaceful place to get away. Loved sitting on the back porch swing overlooking the bay watching birds and dolphins. Later, walking out the front door over to the Gulf and finding seashells. The house was very nice and clean. We would stay here again.

Nice little beach spot

We chose Sea Dream because we wanted to bring our dogs to the beach. The house and Dauphin Island in general were super dog friendly, which we loved. The property manager was helpful and knowledgeable when we asked for recommendations. A few things keeping the place from being 5 stars: the bath towels and sheets were dingy and gray, the grill was super dirty and rusty, and the couches were very uncomfortable. Overall we enjoyed our stay, but would choose someplace with nicer amenities if we weren’t traveling with dogs.

Beautiful view of the sound

We very much enjoyed our stay and did not want to return home at the end of the week. The cabin is clean and the location is great - just stroll down the garden to the sound and dip your toes in the warm water. The public beach at the end of the island is clean, and very easy to reach from the cabin - and is highly recommended for the sand and warm waters. Dauphin Island has a number of good places to eat, including restaurants with live music. The island is laid back but still has a Fort, an Aquarium, a Bird Sanctuary and a Ferry to the mainland to keep you busy! The only word of caution is to ensure that you bring snacks and drinks as the cabin does not have a 'welcome pack' to get you going.

Absolute Gem !

We truly enjoyed our time at Sea Dream. It was a much needed island oasis for us and our pups. What made is so special was the immersion into the beautiful bay, most amazing sunsets, easy stroll to the gulf and great neighbors. Having such a large backyard and water access was a super asset! The decks were comfortable and the home is excellent for rest and relaxation!

Awesome vacation home

We loved this house. Spacious and clean, kitchen well stocked for cooking. Maybe add a brownie pan
but my girls made due with what was there! The bay views from the back deck were amazing. The gulf side was not crowded and the water was so calm. Nearby restaurants, aquarium and shopping. We love quaint little beach towns and this did not disappoint!
