Very pleasant

We started out at one house on the bay and we loved it. The air conditioning went out unfortunately and we had record breaking heat so we had to change houses. I was not as impressed with the new house but it was much cooler and Vacasa was kind enough to find us a new house to get out of the heat so I am very appreciative of that.

Relaxing

Great property! Family loved being on the bayside but be in walkable distance from the golf side. Boys were excited for the big grass yard to play wiggle ball in. For future occupants here are some questions I had before coming. The house does not have beach items (chairs, toys, etc), but has a parking pass for you to park right by the beach. The kitchen has an ice cream maker and double air fryer. It does not have a griddle for pancakes; it does have a small electric skillet but we couldn’t get it to work. Make sure you bring extra dish soap, trash bags, laundry soap and zip lock bags. We had an amazing time and can’t wait to come back.

House was great with well stocked kitchen except for only one dish towel! Loved the front porch and back deck. Access to the bay was nice—just a short walk across the backyard. However we like the ocean and would want a house located on the beach if we booked again.

The house was Great! Very clean very nice, everything worked as it should. Location was great for family! Very quite and laid back. Only complaint would be the actual beach behind the house wasn’t the best for hanging out on and swimming! Luckily public beach is right across the road though! But minus that it was a 5 out of 5!

Sun Chase Dauphin Island

This property was excellent! There was plenty of room and every bedroom has it's own bathroom. It was great having the bay right in the back yard and the ocean just a short walk across the street. Dauphin Island is a very relaxing atmosphere. Our family would definitely stay at this home again.

Great place, backyard beach access.

House was great. Easy check in, clear instructions, clean home, as described. Beach access from the back yard. For management - There was no code for the lock box sent, so I just used the door code every time. Also the light on the top of steps, was out, needs to be replaced.

Family Christmas Getway

This home is absolutely beautiful and met our family needs with 4 separate rooms with individual restrooms. There was ample space for everyone to spread out or for us to be together as group. The kitchen was a good size for preparing meals. The view of the ocean was great! Access to the local restaurants/stores was also easy! Would definitely recommend this for future family events.

Beautiful property

Overall stay was excellent. Did find a few unwashed utensils in with the clean ones. The bathtub in one room needs to be unclogged and had to look for towels and wash cloths some of the rooms not stocked well. But besides minor issues a great place to rent.

We all had a great experience staying at Sun Chase.

It was exactly what we needed to spend time together but yet enough room to separate when we needed our own personal space. It accommodated us very nicely and we enjoyed our time while staying there. We would do it again if opportunity arises!

Great place on the bay.

This house was Gorgeous. A short walk to the beach gulf side and right on the Bayside. It was also dog friendly. Overall we all had a great time.

Awesome house!

Great condo! Would rent again!

We really enjoyed our stay at this property! The accommodations were as pictured and very clean! There were however several maintenance issues and a serious lack of communication with the management company. I emailed them several times with no response. Just to let you know for future reference, we made a list of the maintenance issues that we came across: Two of the three fans on back porch inoperable Vertical slat on front porch not connected at bottom Grill leaks Bathtub in front bedroom stopped up No light in laundry room Ceiling over bar needs fixing (looks like you are about to have a leak) Micro wave very slow Leak in front bathroom Faucet in front bath leaks Patio sofa broken Master bedroom deadbolt unable to lock from the inside Again, we really did enjoy our stay! Just wish these issues had been fixed or attended to. Thank you!

Very nice home

Home is very nice and as described. We did have a lot of rain and the ceiling in the kitchen leaked in one place for a short time after one particularly hard rain. The tank on the gas grill was empty but Vacasa promptly took care of it. Last year, beach towels were provided but there weren’t any this year. We didn’t bring any this year expecting some to be available but not a big deal. There isn’t a boardwalk to the bay. So you have to walk through the grass but it was mowed fairly short. However after the rain water was standing in the grassy area and we had no choice but to use the neighbors boardwalk. I would recommend this home especially if you’re traveling with others and need several bedrooms The kitchen is super nice and has everything to cook. Appliances, washer and dryer are very nice.

Our family had a wonderful time celebrating our grandaughter's graduation from high school. This property, with its 4 bedrooms and 4 baths was perfect for us. Spacious outside decks provided room for all of us to enjoy the house and outdoors.

Relaxing get away

Beautiful home with fabulous views for sunrise and sunsets! Beach access a major plus too! And great grassy area in the yard. Plenty of room for everyone to spread out in the kitchen, dining and living areas. The deck furnishings could definitely use some attention though as well as the grill and same with mattress in the main bedroom. Management also needs to fix the main bedroom toilet to stop it from running. Would stay again if those few things were addressed.

Great location, pictures of the house online do not do the place justice. The place is much better than the pictures. The beach at the back is on the bay side and it’s great for kids. The house had all we needed. A great addition would be a heated pool. The deck is great place to hangout. Thank you

Amazing location in a stunning home

Well maintained beautiful home. High end appliances. Loved the dĂ©cor. My mom and her sister had never stayed in a vacation rental and they were extremely impressed. Both said they’ll come back again. Location was perfect. Water views on both front and back. We’ll definitely be back. Thanks
