Hoss Cove est un paradis au bord du lac récemment rénové avec quai privé 2019, bain à remous, terrasse à deux niveaux, foyer, table de billard et rampe de mise à l'eau.

Cette retraite de vacances privĂ©e se trouve sur sa propre pĂ©ninsule paisible de plus de 2 acres; Une escapade parfaite au bord du lac pour les familles et les couples. La propriĂ©tĂ© est une dĂ©couverte rare du lac Douglas avec sa pelouse en pente douce Ă  quelques pas du quai flottant privĂ©. Parfait pour bronzer, pĂȘcher et nager. Apportez votre propre bateau ou des jouets aquatiques et lancez-les commodĂ©ment depuis la rampe de mise Ă  l'eau Ă  cĂŽtĂ© de la propriĂ©tĂ©. Pas de bateau? Vous pouvez en louer un Ă  7 minutes et l'amarrer au quai pendant votre sĂ©jour.

Détendez-vous sur les ponts couverts et découverts à deux niveaux et profitez d'une vue magnifique sur le lac toute l'année depuis le bain à remous extérieur, la table de billard, le barbecue à gaz et le foyer.

The house was beautiful and as pictured. The Sunroon and back porch were some of our familys favorite places to hang out. The amenities were great and in working order. There was a gradual slope to the dock which made it easy to access our boat rental. Sherri and Donn My family and I enjoyed our time at Hoss Cove and created life long memories while there.

Family vacation

This was a wonderful home for our 7 family members coming together from 3 states to meet. We had jet skis and the cove with its own launch was a huge plus. Very quiet with a lot of privacy. Outdoor Pool table tournaments, fire pit, and cooking out was wonderful each evening. Lots of space and outdoor areas to enjoy. We loved it!!

Time well spent

Wonderful home right on the waterfront. We rented a pontoon boat Mon-Fri. from H2O sports. I loved the family bedroom set up for each of our 3 children & their families. A very well stocked kitchen for cooking & large family table for meals. Swimming area was excellent for all age groups. The cove was excellent for kayaking & canoeing & just floating on rafts. Quiet neighborhood & very nice fire pit for roasting marshmallows. NICE set up for large family gathering.

Spring break getaway to TN

Our stay at the newly renovated Douglas Lake home was fabulous! We needed a home with many beds, multiple bathrooms and fun things to do and this home did not disappoint. We were a group of 13 people from 2 families, ranging in age from 8 to 67 and we all had comfortable places to sleep, plenty of bathrooms so that no one needed to wait, ample table space to eat and visit, a fully loaded kitchen to prepare meals, a hot tub, firepit, grill, pool table, outdoor seating, an amazing view and so much more. It is located close to stores, hiking and offers family fun. Sherri and Donn are kind, friendly, available for questions and easy to work with. I highly recommend this memorable home and look forward to a time when we can go back and stay again.

This house could not have been more perfect for this group with four generations of family. Plenty to do and space to do it in. Beautiful even in the winter without the lake activities. The house was amazing as well as the view of the lake. Very clean and easy check in. Very quite and private. We enjoyed the pool table and hot tub. Bedrooms were big and comfortable. Saw a bald eagle fly over while there twice. House had everything we needed. The outdoor patio was very nice.

Amazing Place

Thank God when they say no pets it means no pets! My two children could breath and they are allergic to mold as well, so No mold either. The place was clean and full of amenities (including cling wrap). We are talking about making this a yearly spot! You'll love this place!!! Great for handicapped people as my husband uses his wheelchair most of the time and he didn't want to leave. Thank you for doing such a great job making our stay amazing!!!

Great family getaway!

I typically rent cabins near GSMNP for our family vacations, but this lake house was a hit with all my family members! My elderly Mom has mobility issues and she was able to enjoy all the outdoor activities vicariously through us. We stayed outside for the majority of our visit. The boat launch next to the property was so convenient! We loved that the walk to the lake wasn't too steep & we enjoyed the floating dock, swing, hammock, hot tub & firepit. This home has everything and we will be visiting again!

We had a great time at Hoss Cove! Big enough for everyone to have their own privacy, the outdoor deck and patio is where we spent most of our evenings, was perfect! We explored, swam and floated in rafts right off the dock, rented a pontoon boat for a portion of our stay, hiked, white water rafting, cooked out and relaxed....was a great time!

Wonderful home and view

We had a family of 8 adults and the home was a perfect fit. The amenities were plentiful and the view is breathtaking, especially the sunrises. The one recommendation I had was stepping stones to the dock, which the owners are already planning. The dock bumpers were a huge time saver for us because we didn't have to pull out all of ours and tie more than 1 or 2 up. Do bring your own beach towels and safe drinkware for the lake, which we did.

Everything about this property is a WOW. The only thing that concerned me was the tight & curvy road to get there! Clean & cute. Very beautiful sunrise & sunset. Bring bug sprays. So family friendly! Tons of firewood. Hot tub was clean! House is just absolutely adorable.

Birthday and Spring Break VaCa

The house was very clean and as pictured. The fires in the surrounding areas did not hinder anything we wanted to do, and we didn't smell the fire either. We visited while the water levels at the lake was down, so we did not do any of the water activities( this was made clear before booking). Even with the water levels being down because of the timeframe we visited, the view on the lake was nice and we enjoyed the sunrises and sunsets on the lake. There was plenty of games and movies in the home to keep my littles occupied. I would suggest adding a TV in one of the other bedrooms other than the master. We explored Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge most of the days and the ride was about 30 to 40 minutes away. We also had a good time roasting marshmallows over the fire pit and the hot tub was LOVE!! Overall our stay was great and we plan to visit again in the summer when the water levels are higher so that we can fish, go swimming, and go jet skiing.

My family and I stayed here for a Christmas vacation. The house was perfect! Our group consisted of 8 adults and 3 kids and we all were very comfortable and had space. Additionally, the house is in a great location! Not only is it in a quiet spot but it is only 30 minutes away from Dollywood. Sherri was very responsive to any questions I had once we were in the house and the kitchen had everything we needed to cook various meals. Lastly, the house was beautiful with tons of updates. My family and I agreed that we would want to stay there again, it was a great place to stay!

This was the perfect place for my family to stay during our extended weekend getaway! The listing was accurate but it was the small things that made our stay even better. The layout of the home was great, the view was wonderful, and the overall peaceful environment of the area made this one of the most relaxing vacations we've had. Perfect spot for a weekend getaway!

If you are looking for the perfect spot to unplug and unwind with friends and family, this is it. The property is conveniently located just outside the city and is only 10-15 minutes from downtown stores/grocery. Beautifully decorated, the house has a cozy charm to it and does NOT lack on amenities. Everything you need to enjoy your stay is right there on the premises and has entertainment for all ages. The private dock makes it easy to get out on the water, whether you just want to swim in the cove or tie up a vessel. The boat ramp on site allows you to bring your own watercraft or there are two very close businesses to rent from if you don’t. We enjoyed having the backyard fire pit to gather around for conversation and the generously sized hot tub to soak and relax in. With fast WiFi and ample cell coverage, one can still stay connected with the outside world if needed (but I recommend you don’t!) Sherri is a pleasure to work with and will respond to any questions or concerns almost instantly. I have stayed in multiple lake houses throughout Kentucky, Tennessee, and North Carolina and this is hands down the best one. Made some amazing memories Labor Day weekend of 2021; very grateful for Sherri and her husband to have shared their place with us.
