You and Me Kid LLC brings you their first modern lake view home in the private gated community of Waterside on Douglas Lake. This property is elevated on one of the higher points of the rolling landscape and supports spectacular views of Douglas Lake and the surrounding mountains.

With a spacious driveway there is plenty of parking room for you and your guests when you arrive. Walk into our front-door into an open concept kitchen, dining area, and living room. Feel free to unload your baggage through the side door in the laundry room for your convenience.

Each of our 3 bedrooms offers a queen bed with covered mattress and covered pillows, fresh linens, and television. Each bedroom has direct access to one of the back decks. Each bedroom has a private bathroom so couples can enjoy their privacy.

The master bathroom includes a soaking tub with gorgeous views of the lake and mountains. There is also a large walk-in shower with a rain head.

Enjoy the full kitchen with all stainless steel appliances, including a fridge and freezer, dishwasher, microwave, oven and stove. Take your cooking expertise onto the full back deck and utilize the grill for your evening cookouts.

The deck runs the extent of the house with seating areas for each of the bedrooms for enjoying morning coffee, or an evening beverage. The enlarged deck space in the center is equipped with durable and sturdy polywood furniture for your lunches, dinners, and evening game time!

An expanding and changing collection of games and books are provided for your enjoyment.

The living room comes equipped with a sleeper sofa for those of you bringing an extra guest, couple, or children. If you’re an extended stay guest take advantage of our full size laundry room with washer and dryer.

Enjoy internet (wifi speed 1,000 mbps) access to stay connected while you’re away from home. Each bedroom room and the family offers Roku TV. You may want to completely disconnect and just enjoy the outdoors! However you make yourself comfortable and enjoy your time off, our home will be conducive. Comfortable temperatures are maintained with central heat and air.

Waterside on Douglas provides you with a community saltwater pool, a day dock, and a dry dock for those of you bringing watercraft for your enjoyment.

Easily accessible right off of Interstate 40, in a completely gated community, and a short 23 miles from Sevierville, 35 miles to Gatlinburg & 30 miles to Pigeon Forge.

House Rules:
Must be 25 yrs or older to rent.
A strictly enforced no-pet/no-smoking/no-exception policy. If any pets are found on the premises or if evidence of smoking appears, the guest will be charged for additional cleaning, forfeit their security deposit, and be required to move out immediately.

Wonderful stay and beautiful view!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here! We had 4 adults, 2 teens, and two babies. There was plenty of room for everyone to spread out. The home is well-equipped, has a beautiful view of the lake, and Sandra was very communicative. She was super hospitable, with a welcoming basket, bottles of water in the fridge, and everything that we needed to enjoy our stay! Linens, towels, kitchenware, etc, were all provided. They also have games for family time, noodles for the community pool, a grill, patio table with umbrella, and beautiful deck views from all 3 BR. The community pool is amazing, plenty of lounge chairs, and has a huge pavilion area with a table. The community boat ramp is very accessible, as well as a covered place to dock the boat. The gated community is very peaceful and in a nice area. We loved our stay here and would definitely return!

Surprise Local Getaway

Absolutely wonderful peaceful relaxing and fun surprise getaway for my husband's birthday that was close yet seemed so far away from home! We enjoyed the pool and rented a boat for one day. Communication with Sandra was top notch and she is the sweetest host! 100% recommend!

Wonderful stay by Douglas Lake

The property was great! The layout of the house is perfect all of the bedrooms are away from the other each with their own bathroom. . Beautiful suite upstairs with a great view of the Smokies! We rented a pontoon boat from Swann’s marina and enjoyed a fabulous day on Douglas Lake!

Smoky Mountain getaway

You and Me is an awesome house. It was in immaculate condition with everything you needed for a short stay or even a longer term. The house and everything in it was close to brand new. The views were amazing. The dock and pool are close by. I would definitely stay here again if I come back to the area.

I can’t even say enough good things about our stay at You and me kid! Sandra was so easy to communicate with and the house was everything that was stated and more! mountain get away

we booked this home for a last minute trip and we are happy we did. it was peaceful and the communication from sandra was top notch. its an easy 45 min-1 hour drive to pigeon forge/gatlinburg if you are looking for things to do. the home is exactly as pictured.

Loved Douglas Lake

The property was very clean and presented exactly as advertised. We enjoyed spending time at the pool and fishing at the dock. We rented boats from Swann’s Marina and Douglas Lake Marina (free pizza and Ice Cream when we were done) and had a blast fishing and swimming in the lake. It felt like we had the lake to ourselves during the 1st week of August because the local schools were back in session. The drives to Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg were 45 minutes and 1 hour. However, there are many other fun things to do and see that are closer. Bustin’ Butts BBQ is 100% worth the stop. And the guys down at Bucks-N-Bass were very helpful and willing to point us in the right direction. I’m still bummed that I did not get back to the store to pick up a t-shirt from them. Sandra was an amazing host and was quick to respond to us at all times. We had a pretty mean storm come through during our stay and she made sure to check in and give us everything we needed. Thanks Sandra.

Best Kept Secret

This place was AMAZING! Not only was the house wonderful, with beautiful views and close to the water, the host was just as wonderful! Sandra (the host) gave us fantastic restaurant recommendations and provided the easiest check-in possible. She answered all of my questions in a timely manner and went above and beyond for my family. Relaxing

The house was beautiful and had a view of the lake. We really enjoyed the layout and it was fully stocked with anything you could think of. The gated community was quiet and easy to access- not a lot of homes are built yet. The boat ramp and dock were really nice and we easily launched and pulled out our boat each day. We also enjoyed the community pool. We had a great stay would definitely book again.

Douglas Lake Fishing Tournament

This home was perfect for our trip. The home is in a developing gated community. The home was very clean and everything operated with no issues. Spacious deck with great view of the area and lake. The community offers a pool and a convenient boat ramp and dock for access to Douglas Lake. Home owner was very responsive to all questions and provided recommendations on dining in the area that proved to be excellent.

Renting this property was extremely easy convenient and well communicated. Sandra did a very nice job over communicating everything from start to finish. Beautiful home! We enjoyed our stay and the home had all amenities you would need. We stayed for three nights and Sandra allowed an early check in. Instructions on expectations were clear. Nice pool and dock, if you have a boat. The only downfall was the construction happening next door but it wasn’t overly intrusive. We will definitely be staying here again.

Very good space for up to four couples, although it was just me and my fiancé' on this trip. Great location was remote but close to the town of Dandridge. Great place to recharge.

Gorgeous views!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We came Christmas Eve and stayed 4 nights. The sunrise and sunsets were breathtaking! The home was very accommodating with each bedroom having it's own bathroom. We also spent time around the fire pit with plenty of wood and chairs to accommodate us all (6). Great neighborhood to stroll and take in the scenery. Would stay again!
