The Ellsworth House @ Greenville

This Oasis in the heart of Dallas is close to everything! Walk to Greenville Ave to see a show @ The Granada, enjoy the restaurants & nightlife. Walk to Mockingbird Station to see a movie or catch the DART anywhere in Dallas (events at AAC, the Texas State Fair, or even to the airport). Walk to SMU. Go to Glencoe Park at the end of the block where you can access the Katy Trail for some exercise & people watching. Or just stay home and enjoy the pool and the peaceful neighborhood!

We offer some great amenities while you enjoy your stay. We have cool relaxing pool & spa to soak and relax in after a long day! Note* The pool & hot tub can be heated at an additional cost, upon request. There is also a fire pit that is available for use. There is an outside Television that can be used to stream any of your favorite shows.

Hot tub not included.Overall, the home is in a quiet neighborhood and conveniently located near local amenities, which made it an easy and comfortable stay.One thing to be aware of: after the cancellation period had passed, we received an additional email outlining additional rules, including that the hot tub was not included in the booking and required an extra fee for limited two-hour use. Since the listing features photos and mentions of both the pool and hot tub, this was unexpected and something that influenced our decision to book.Our stay was still enjoyable overall, but clearer upfront communication about the hot tub and additional rules would have been appreciated to help set expectations.

Our small family (3 people) had a lovely stay in Lower Greenville at this lovely house. The owners were super communicative and helpful, the house was clean and comfortable, and the neighborhood is adorable. Bonus that there is room to park two cars in the driveway, in cas that's important to you. Our son is starting college nearby in the fall and we will definitely stay here again! Great Location

One of our best stays at a VRBO!

We had a lovely stay at the Ellsworth house. The house had so many little considerations that made it special and nice for a family visit. It fit the four of us well, and the pool, hot tub and outdoor area, including the firepit were all in excellent condition and made our time together extra special to enjoy the weather and hang out together. We were visiting our son who is living in downtown Dallas and he was happy to get away from the city noise while still being in an area where we could walk to restaurants and shops. There are automated blinds, ceiling fans and more that work with remotes that are handy dandy as well. The owners were communicative and helpful throughout our stay. We would definitely stay here again!

Overall great stay!

This property is super cute and would be a great choice for a friend group or family! Check in process was super easy and the hosts sent us lots of great information about places to eat nearby. Wish there would’ve been a little more clear info on the fact that you have to pay extra to use the hot tub, but overall we really enjoyed our stay!

Perfect Trip! Amazing Host!

We had the absolute BEST stay! Already planning our next trip down. The house was spotless and in the most perfect location. Walking distance to parks and restaurants and easy highway access! One of the best stocked homes and kitchens - we cooked almost every meal. And the natural light that comes in is gorgeous! The host was probably the best we’ve ever had. HIGHLY recommend!

Thanksgiving Week in Dallas

We enjoyed the location of the home. It is a quiet neighborhood with close proximity to SMU, North Park Mall and many great restaurants. The beds were exceptionally comfortable and the kitchen is darling. Great Amenities for this home away from home!
