As featured on FYI`s `Tiny House Hunting`, the space is super cozy and luxe achieving tailored comfort layered with both charming and contemporary vibes. With the 340 sq feet of space on the interior, living tiny has never felt so large! We can promise you that. It was created by the owner/host to maximize every inch of this cleverly designed space to provide the right feel for luxurious and modern while also achieving the perfect balance between form and function.
Some of the notable attributes are:
* Two skylights for the perfect natural lighting during the day with blackout shades for nighttime, with convenient accessibility via a remote control.
* Washer and Dryer unitized by LG. Pretty dang cool, eh?
* The cutest, darn suite of appliances including a tiny dishwasher, a small Wolf oven with red knobs (OMG!), a two-burner stove top, and the perfect sized refrigerator topped off with a microwave, literally.
* Two Smart TVs so that you can lay in bed and watch your favorite shows, or you can lounge in either of the armed comfort chairs in cayenne fabric and watch the TV on the opposite wall above the bed.
* A generous closet with Elfa Shelving System is an organizer`s dream!
Guests are welcome to use any of the outside spaces. In our world, we believe in Southern hospitality where we like for everyone to feel welcome! You will love the cross fences, but these are there, not to divide, but to provide safety and security for any of our furry friends. There are three residential units in total on this property, and the other two can be found on this same site by clicking on Stan's Host Profile.
We interact with guests as little or as much as they prefer to ensure their stay is tailored and bespoke to their preferences!
We are available via phone and text so we can meet all of your needs, and even spoil you just a little bit : )
Set in the heart of Uptownâs trendy dining and nightlife scene, this property is a short walk from the serene Oak Lawn Park. Pay a visit to the Museum of Geometric and MADI Art or attend a Mav`s basketball game at the nearby American Airlines Arena.
Uber and/or Lyft are easy and ready on demand within two-three minutes. Also, bus stop just around the corner.
Speaking of buses (and rail), Dallas-Fort Worth also has an app called âGoPassâ. This app is public transportation made easy in DFW. Purchase your bus and rail tickets right from your phone. And the Trip Planner feature gives you step by step directions with ETA for two-three unique travel options from place of origin to your destination.
Buy your DART, The T, TRE and DCTA tickets through the GoPass app, available for Android phones and iPhones.
The app is FREE from the Googl Play Store or Apple App Store. Before you can use the app to purchase tickets, you must register your phone number in a one-time setup.
All tickets are delivered to your phone as `Not Yet Activated.` You can purchase tickets up to 60 days in advance of using them. You must activate your ticket before boarding and show the ticket on your smartphone to the bus driver or fare enforcement officer when required.
No smoking nor vaping inside - smoking allowed outside only as long as doors and windows to home are closed while smoking.
No parties.
In addition to one reserved/covered parking space, there is street parking available at no charge if you have a second car.
We are very pet friendly with a fenced yard designed with your pet in mind!
The guesthouse is not shared with anyone else!
Walk to CVS and/or 7-11 convenience store (open 24 hours per day) only one block away for after-hours purchases.
Uber and Lyft are readily available and provide pickup within 5 minutes.
Trash bins: There are two gray trash bins on side of main structure for regular trash. And there are two blue recycle bins also on side of house.
We are super happy that you`ve chosen us for your stay!! Welcome y`all! Now most of us don`t like rules .... I know, I know .... but .... at least we say it with a smile ... : )
So, let`s just lay this on the table right up front .... haha .... we don`t care what you smoke as long as you`re smoking it `outside`. We have zero tolerance for any type of smoking inside, including smoking through a cracked window or an open door. Now let`s move on with a few other items so that we can get to the fun stuff, you know, the purpose of your stay:
1). Our furry friends are like humans, and by the way, we love them too! We have a dedicated Poop Station in corner of back yard. Please use the poop bags provided to pick up after your pet and dispose in `green` waste receptacle in back yard. Please do not place poop bags in regular garbage cans nor the garbage receptacles provided by City of Dallas.
2). Our standard pet fee is $65 per pet for your entire stay.
3). Please be courteous of others in outside common areas and reduce outside noise to a minimum starting at 10:00 pm in the evening. Please remember that all three houses on the property are occupied by other Short-Term rental guests who want to have just as much fun or relax or carry-on or sleep as much as you do!
Now that #s 1-3 are out of the way, please `Relax and Forget` about your worries ...... And allow us to make your stay even more comfortable and cozy by calling on us anytime! And we mean that y`all!
