As the day winds down, gather around the fire pit or relax in the hot tub overlooking the creek. Downtown Dahlonega and Georgia’s Wine Country are just minutes away.

This quaint, charming mountain cabin perfectly blends a rustic wood interior with plush accommodations in an open floor plan, creating a unique escape that will surely exceed your expectations! You`ll feel right at home with the chic mountain cabin decor, wireless internet, TV and gas fireplace for those toasty mountain days and nights. Or unplug and savor all that mother nature provides while you fish in the catch-and-release pond, just a few steps away. A fishing rod is provided!

Nestled in the Cavender Creek Cabin complex with shared amenities among a handful of cabins, spend time in the gazebo or lounge around the fire pit making smores and stargazing at night. Take a stroll on the walking trails that lead to Cavender Creek, a former gold mining creek. Or if you`ve spent the day hiking or winery-hopping, wind down in your own private hot tub overlooking the creek!

Fire up the gas grill on the back deck and prepare your own meals in the fully stocked kitchen, complete with a refrigerator, stove, oven, microwave, dishwasher, Keurig coffee maker and ample cookware. There`s plenty of space to feast inside at the 4 person table or dine outside overlooking nature on the deck.

Relax in the bedroom, furnished with a king bed or snuggle up with a book on the sleeper sofa by the gas fireplace in the main living area.

Nestled in the mountains, this retreat has the best of both worlds by also being convenient to town. Located 4 miles to downtown Historic Dahlonega, you`ll find boutique shops, dining, galleries and local activities in the Square. Also close to Amicalola Falls State Park, Blood Mountain, Springer Mountain (the beginning of the Appalachian Trail) and so much more! Enjoy all the nearby activities of the Chattahoochee National Forest including tubing, hiking, and biking, or simply find one of the many vineyards and wineries for an afternoon of wine tastings and soaking up the stunning mountain scenery. Kaya, Wolf Mountain, Three Sisters and of course, Cavender Creek Vineyard are must-stops along the Georgia wine highway!
