Things to know before renting Seminole Sunrise on lovely Lake Martin
1) We welcome you to our home at Seminole Sunrise —a wonderful place in a quiet and peaceful area of Lake Martin! It is a perfect place for families looking to make wonderful memories. The home has been recently updated, and it is a wonderful place to stay. But because of our family location, absolutely no parties! Our home is designed for a maximum of 8 adults, up to groups of 10 with combined adults and children.
2) Again, please respect our neighbors. There are plenty of areas on the lake for party-goers and louder groups
just not this area!
3) Our dock is available for your boat, but it is a somewhat small. Large boats (greater than 22 feet) will not fit and there is room for only ONE boat. It is perfect for standard pontoon boats!
4) The paved driveway is fairly steep. While this is only a minor issue for cars, it can make maneuvering with a trailer more challenging. See the listing photos for more reference. There is a small spot in the parking area to allow for cars to maneuver and turn around.
5) The countryside has insects. We have an exterminator who provides excellent scheduled service. However, bugs and critters will still occasionally enter the property from time to time, and the guest can either trap and free the insect or kill it. We will not judge, but it is part of country life in ANY home here.
6) There is no fence separating the home from the water, so supervise children at all times and keep the doors locked. Absolutely no diving for you and your group's safety
7) We want you to have an amazing experience at our home!!!

Great stay at this wonderful waterside home. Space enough for our group of 6. Owners were great hosts, communicate very well, clean home and comfy. No issues at all. Kitchen was prepared and had all we needed to host our Thanksgiving meal here. Outside is a peaceful retreat with waterside screened sitting area and dock to the water. Look forward to visiting again!!

This house is perfect! Perfect location and the view is just stunning. House has everything you need for a nice relaxing stay at the lake. We stayed here to see the Auburn Kentucky game and the location was close enough to get to and from the stadium in about 40min.

The view and sunrises were turely beautiful. We enjoyed the quietness of the entire place. There were 6 adults and 1 child and we all had a great time. Rented a boat and the dock made it so easy to get in and out. Never a worry!! We all wish we could have stayed longer. Maybe next time we can. I hoghly recommend this place.

My sisters and I vacation together once a year. The house was great. Andre was great with good communication. We loved the keyless entry. Easy access to lake for swimming. Kitchen had everything needed. We would rent again and recommend the rental for anyone looking on Lake Martin!

Memorial Day Weekend

We had the best time here during the Memorial Day weekend. We had two families and the house was just perfect. We loved going to chucks one night for pizza. It was super close! We had everything we needed close by as well if we had to run to the store. The dock is close to the neighbors but they were all very friendly!! We would stay here again!

Great house with great light and easy access to the lake. We had a blast paddle boarding and swimming in the lake. Great area for running and cycling as well. Our host was fantastic. Very responsive and the house was exactly as described! Would definitely stay here again.

Seminole Lake house

Our stay was extremely blessed and appreciated. We enjoyed the peace, laughter and the water. Wanted to stay longer but work comes first. This home was extremely clean top to bottom. Perfect week!

My family had the best week at this lake house! The location was perfect on the water and an easy drive to Auburn. The house was the perfect size for the 5 of us and had everything we needed. The beds were comfortable. Being able to swim and float right in front of the house and away from boat traffic was perfect! We also enjoyed the use of the paddle board and kayak. My college aged kids enjoyed being able to paddle to Chuck's.

Perfect!

This place rates a rating better than 5 Stars. It was perfect! The owner/s have obviously gone to a lot of trouble to do all the little things that contribute to the comfort of their guests. Every bed was very comfortable, ceiling fans in all bedrooms, hooks everywhere to hang towels and such, a well equipped kitchen, beautiful furnishings throughout the house, a screened in porch overlooking the water and wide steps to make entering the water for swimming easier even for us older folks. The owner/s even provided shampoo, body wash, dishwashing detergent, garbage bags, cleaning supplies and beach towels. There was a paddle board, kayak and plenty of life jackets for the younger members of our group. The location was great. There were two good restaurants, a pizza/wings place, a Dollar General and a new grocery store nearby. Last, but certainly not least, the owner (Andre) was very easy to communicate with and responded immediately to any questions I had. I can’t think of a single negative thing to say about this place. We would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful and clean!

This place is beautiful and very clean! I was out in Dadeville for work with two co-workers through Thursday initially. I found out on the morning of when we were supposed to check out that we would have to stay through Friday instead. I immediately reached out to Andre, the host, and he really came through for us on short notice! He extended our stay without issue so we didn’t have to worry about finding a different place to stay. The hosts made our stay very enjoyable and I would recommend this house to any and all!
