Pondside Lodge: Hottub + Sauna + Firepit + Game Room

This captivating hideaway boasts three bedrooms, each featuring a cozy queen bed, while the living room offers an additional queen sleeper sofa for enhanced comfort and a Pack ‘n Play. Plus, there`s a game room for added entertainment. Immerse yourself in the picturesque surroundings, ensuring an unforgettable fusion of relaxation and fun. Encounter wildlife such as turkey, deer, and fishing opportunities, deepening your bond with nature. Moreover, delight in the warmth of an outdoor firepit, rejuvenate in the communal sauna, and indulge in the soothing comfort of the hot tub, exclusively available for guests, elevating the comfort and tranquility of your retreat.
Additional Rules

1. If issues arise during your stay, you`ll have to communicate promptly with us. Good communication between us (the host) and the guest is important for successful stays. You should respond to us (the hosts) within 24 hours when we are reaching out to resolve an issue.

2. It is a `must` to read the entire listing description and the house rules of our property. If, in this case, you DO NOT read over our listing description or house rules and are not comfortable with something that is clearly stated, we will uphold our cancellation policies.

3. No unregistered guests/visitors unless pre approved.

4. Please keep noise to a minimum after 10PM and always be respectful of the neighbors and other tenants in the building.

5. No parties or events unless previously organized in writing with the host. If there’s evidence of a party or event, there’ll be an additional charge of $200.

6 If bringing a pet:
6.1 We don`t allow cats, puppies (less than 1 year old) nd the following breeds: German Shepherd, Australian Shepherd, Belgian Shepherd, Dutch Shepherd, and ALL OTHER Shepherd breeds, as well as Pit Bulls, Border Collies, Huskies, Akitas, Alaskan Malamutes, Great Pyrenees, and Bernese Mountain Dogs. If any of these dog breeds is brought to the property and we find out then that will result to immediate eviction with no refund.
6.2 A pet fee per pet is required for a maximum of two pets. Please message us to let us know so that we can send a request for the payment.
6.3 Pets must weigh no more than 45 lbs.
6.4 DOGS MUST BE ON A LEASH
6.5 Please clean up after your dog (pick up your dog`s poop)
6.6 No pets allowed on furniture or beds.

7. Follow state laws when using the fire pit. Please make sure not to leave fires unattended.

8. For noise complaints:
8.1 If we receive any noise complaints from neighbors a security guard will be called out to the property at a cost of $85 to guests for the first call out.
8.2. If security is called a second time during your stay, you will be charged a $250 fee and be removed from the premises with no refund of your stay.

9. Please be mindful of neighboring personal property such as swing sets. Do not let children play on or use this without prior written permission.

10. No smoking anywhere in this house. If we find evidence of smoking anywhere in the house you will be charged $250 for extra cleaning.

11. Hot tub. The hot tub is always serviced and tested after each guest`s stay. To keep it clean and safe, please follow these guidelines:
11.1 Only swimwear is allowed—no regular clothes.
11.2 Avoid bringing drinks or food into the hot tub to prevent spills and contamination.
11.3 Please rinse off any lotions or oils before entering, as these can disrupt the water`s chemical balance.
11.4 Do not use glass containers to prevent breakage.
11.5 Always keep the cover on when not in use.
11.6 Please note that an extra cleaning fee may be charged if excessive cleaning is required.

12. During the winter season, Guests are expressly prohibited from walking on the ice covering the pond, as this poses a significant safety hazard due to the potential for the ice to break. Additionally, swimming in the pond is strictly forbidden. The property owners shall not bear any liability for injuries or damages resulting from engaging in these prohibited activities.

Follow all check-out procedures:
- Check-out is at 10 AM (unless otherwise agreed upon)
- Please make sure to return the Custer State Park pass.
- Wash dishes, and please put them on the drying rack before leaving.
- Place all towels and wash rags on the bathroom floor.
- Remove all trash from the cabin, including any food and condiments in the refrigerator. To dispose of your trash, please use the green dumpster near the entrance at the top of the hill, next to the Black Hills Bungalows sign.


Note:
* Up to $200 extra cleaning fee may be charged if home is left unreasonably dirty and requires more work than usual to clean (for example: mud on the couches). All damages will also be charged to guest.

* Check out time is scheduled for 10:00 am on the day of departure unless previously agreed with the host. If the guest is more than 90 minutes late, the guest will be charged $100.

* Any costs incurred by the host as a result of a late check out will be passed on to you.
