Welcome to Destination Outdoors - Holly Hideaway, a cozy yurt nestled on 100 acres of private North Carolina mountainside. Perfect for two, this glamping spot offers a plush queen bed, a private deck with breathtaking views, and a kitchen nook with mini fridge and microwave. *Keep in mind there is no AC or heat, but most weeks in the summer it stays cool up in the mountains. We also have a space heater and heated mattress pads for the colder months.

The driveway is steep but if you are familiar with gravel mountain roads 2WD is fine. Otherwise we recommend AWD or 4WD.

Explore miles of private trails leading to mountain top sunrises and sunsets, play disc golf on a 9-hole course, or try fishing on property in the premier fly fishing river, Tuckasegee River. Relax by the campfire, float down the river with your own tube, or explore this private mountain. This yurt is your gateway to an unforgettable Smoky Mountain adventure.

You have full access to the yurt, private deck, and 5 miles of private trails on the property. The detached bathhouse is shared with guests from our other yurt.

This is a pet friendly property and a pet fee applies at booking.

The yurt has little insulation so please pack warm clothing in the winter. We provide a space heater and heated mattress pad for your comfort. Be prepared in seasons that temperatures drop below freezing!
