The Space:

Manna Gum Retreat by Tiny Away is a charming farm stay in Cudgee, just 17 minutes from Warrnambool. Here, enjoy tiny house living while exploring nearby attractions, including Flagstaff Hill Maritime Village, Deep Blue Hot Springs, and Logans Beach Whale Watching Platform.



If you're an animal lover, you can visit our neighbors at Warrnambool Wildlife Encounters, where you can cuddle a baby koala, joey, or possum. In summer, enjoy the chance to pick fresh raspberries, silvanberries, strawberries, and mulberries right from our property.



A cozy 139-square-foot tiny home is nestled among the bush, offering tranquil views of green paddocks beyond. All with easy access to water, split air conditioning, a kitchenette, cooking equipment, and excellent bathroom facilities. These amenities include an eco-friendly compost toilet with a removable waste holding tank, hand basin, and gas-heated shower.



Guest Access:

Guests will have access to our cozy tiny home and the surrounding bush area. Please do not climb fences or venture into the orchard, gardens, or neighbouring properties.



As an added note, please advise that there is a small dam on the adjacent property. We highly recommend that parents closely supervise their children at all times.

By car:

- 38 mins drive to Port Fairy

- 2 hrs, 52 mins drive from Melbourne



By public transport:



- Trains from Melbourne to Warrnambool (via Geelong) run 3-5 times daily. Taxis are available from Warrnambool station.



Other Things to Note:

- Smoking is allowed in the carport area only

- No pets allowed inside/outside the tiny home

- No unregistered guests or visitors are allowed

- No group parties, and please keep noise to a minimum after 10 PM

- Please do not venture into the veggie garden, orchard, or house garden



House guidelines



- Caution to All Parents: A small fenced dam is located on an adjacent property

- Campfires are for warmth or cooking only and are to be kept in the marked fireplace. Fires must be extinguished before going to bed or leaving.



Pre-orders and Recommendations



- Basic firewood kit with kindling & matches provided ​for free.

- Additional firewood is available for free.

- Berry picking (seasonal) can be prearranged with land host 24 hrs before arrival

- Due to the nature of the property, abundant wildlife may be present on the property.  

- Keep in mind that BBQ grills and outdoor fire pits are not available during a total fire ban period

- For stays of 5 nights or more, an additional cleaning fee will be collected to help maintain the compost toilets and ensure a clean and fresh experience for all guests. We appreciate your understanding.
